Looks like A Bar Song isn't going to fall fast like some of you were saying. Also, it stabilized on today's update on country. This is here to stay. The difference is that people actually like this song, unlike with IHSH (which burnt out with people really quickly).

His Ai too low compated to rest of the songs's spin/ai rate. 

That means only small stations spinning the song= payola. 

 

You know that already anyways, and it irritates me pop radio playing a "country" song that much.

I don't know, I'd much rather have this hold on until some other song surpasses IHSH. The last thing we need is for ABS to collapse, and IHSH back into another week at #1.

 

Makes me wonder how Lose Control didn't get this hate when it did a 10-week run at #1 on radio.

At this point, take what you can get. At least Illusion has a -224 update. It's no threat to make it back up to the Top 10, so it will go recurrent after 2 more weeks (on 9/1). There are some songs that should be getting negative updates that are still in the positive *cough* Make You Mine *cough*.

Illusion is still on KIIS Los Angeles. In fact, they're playing Illusion (44) more times a week than A Bar Song (31)! Of course, Die For You still played more than either of them, so we can't have everything.

I want A Bar Song to fall because I want Birds of a feather or Good luck babe to be future #1's or Please Please to return for a second week at #1, and it's not going to be possible with that Shaboozey massive airplay. At this point A Bar Song could spend more than 10 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100. Lose Control was only contender for #1 for one week, so it didn't matter that massive airplay that much.
