Ger Posted June 27 Posted June 27 It's honestly very disappointing and unfair the way Pop radio refuses to embrace/play Hip-Hop/Rap songs, they used to give it more of a chance, but these past few years... There's no justification for a smash like NLU not being at least Top 20, while you have big push for songs that again and again have showed that GP really does not care about them, curtrent examples being Illusion and MYM. 1

Also, with that same logic, the new Kelsea & Noah collab should receive the treatment, and yet we can already see it's fate from a mile away, the same applies for many songs in the past couple of years, like: 'The Bones' duet with Hozier which didn't touch pop's top 10, 'I Bet You Think About Me', and let me not begin with the disastrous treatment of 'I Remember Everything'... 1

I work at a bank. We always have to 40 radio on. And I remember a Lil Uzi song came on and my manager said to change it. I very politely told her she's being racist because she always discriminates artists of a certain skin colour.
