Sean 'Diddy' Combs, Accused Of Sexual Abuse, Sees Radio Play Plummet

 

 

Citing data from Luminate, the magazine says that during the two tracking weeks ahead of the lawsuit's emergence (Nov. 3 to Nov. 16, 2023), Combs' catalog was good for 11,000 radio spins — or 23.3 million radio airplay audience impressions. But in the two tracking weeks subsequent to the suit's filing (Nov. 17-30), the catalog saw spins decline 28% to 8,000 and impressions drop 26% to an equivalent of 17.3 million.

 

Things have only gotten worse. According to the data, Combs' body of recorded work — and that includes everything billed under his numerous names, from Puff Daddy to Diddy — produced just 1,000 spins (good for 4 million impressions) from March 15-28 of 2024. That represents an 88% decline in radio spins and an 83% drop in radio audience vs. the Nov. 3-16, 2023 window.
