PTTR moves up to #7 this morning. Thinkin Bout Me and XXL are going recurrent tonight, while Lead Me On should be purged. Seasons barely survives.

 

Next week, Is It Over Now and Houdini should go recurrent.

I don't know much about radio but is it possible for a song to beat recurrency? Cruel Summer is coming back hard at the moment.

No, once a song goes recurrent, it stays recurrent. Creepin had enough spins to beat out Karma for #10 on 9/3/2023, but Medibase kept it recurrent. In fact, I could see this backfiring somewhat. Radio really needs to let this one go before it cannibalizes TTPD's lead single.

Levitating beat out recurrency because it passed its original peak from the first run. If I remember correctly, I think it went recurrent the 2nd time (on Mediabase) after it fell below that original peak position, instead of the normal #10.

If Trevor Daniel's "Falling" still holds the record, then yes, as long as Feather stays below #17 on the Hot 100.

Also, if Renee Rapp's "Not My Fault" doesn't enter the Hot 100, it would be the highest peaking song on Pop to never chart on the Hot 100.
