Olivia's team should let go of bir and ghb, and push Can't Catch Me Now. Fair. But I disagree, I dont think Houdini is a top 10 hit. I'm interested what Dua has up her sleeve. In terms of top 10 songs that have ran their course Little Mid Thang, Cruel Summer, PTTR, and Used To Be Young need to freefall now. 1
Ger Posted January 9 Posted January 9 (edited) WWIMF? deserves a 2nd wind, hell, it deserves nothing less than #1. Miss get him back! can freefall though (and it probably will). I believe the next to start freefalling are UTBY and LBT, and ghb! a little later. Top 10 contenders include: Houdini (they will let it have the Top 10 peak, but will start freefalling eventually, another one with horrendous callouts), Water, Strangers and Feather. Thus, WWIMF? is perhaps going to decrease, too. 20. TOO MUCH: 3448 (-102) | 6.393 (-0.224) 25 (-1) 3D: 1933 (-120) | 2.657 (-0.148) Jung Kook PANNED by the GP, no surprise, both awful songs. Yeah, those songs, especially CS and PTTR (I like this one, but it's time to give Agora Hills its shine), needed to be let go weeks ago. Houdini can be one of those quick Top 10s, then dropped quickly, in time for Feather to replace it. 1

jdanton2 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 i thought Water had alot of buzz. maybe it has a chance to reach the top 10 though there is a huge gap.
Michael196 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 While I’m loving how radio has been mainly supporting women, what really deserves to get pushed right now are Stick Season & IRE, not songs that are getting half or even third of their weekly streams…

Ger Posted January 10 Posted January 10 (edited) Along with Miley Cyrus' “Flowers,” which flies back into the top five, at least three others see a resurgence: Doechii featuring Kodak Black's “What It Is (Block Boy)” moves from 22 up to 8, Nicki Minaj & Ice Spice ft. Aqua's “Barbie World” 16-9, and David Guetta & Bebe Rexha's “I'm Good (Blue)” 31-13. Year-end countdown airplay may have played a part in all the above songs' rebounds. Making its first appearance in Pop's top five is Doja Cat's “Agora Hills,” currently the top-testing song among 18-to-24-year-olds, according to Integr8 Research President Matt Bailey. Teddy Swims' “Lose Control” takes the prize with the 25-32 demo break, while Metro Boomin featuring The Weeknd and 21 Savage's “Creepin'” remains at the top at Pop, testing best among those ages 33-39. What gives “Creepin'” an advantage, Bailey says, is that it isn’t unpopular among other age groups as are other high-charting songs. One example is Jack Harlow's “Lovin On Me,” No. 1 on both the Hot 100 and Spotify yet 10th-ranked at Pop callout. “Its overall score suffers due to poor acceptance among Hispanic listeners to pop radio,” he says. While Tate McRae's “Greedy,” Mediabase's Mainstream Top 40 airplay No. 1, is top 10 among listeners under 25, Bailey notes that “its overall score suffers because of lesser appeal among listeners over age 25, especially listeners in their 30s.” https://www.insideradio.com/free/integr8-usa-rebounds-abound-while-doja-cats-latest-breaks-into-pops-top-five/article_1b86984c-af9d-11ee-92bc-db9bc7537c18.html -------------------------- Hispanics not clicking with LOM "greedy" is no surprise, it does not sound as something it'd do good for older demographics. Meanwhile, "Creepin'" having that universal mass appeal, I mean, who does not love the classic in the making. Edited January 10 by Ger-55
