After watching the latest callouts report...

Next week could be finally the closure for "Sure Thing" fascinating resurgence, strong numbers across the board so I can see it being a multi-week #1 Pop hit. Can't wait for "Adorn" turn.

"Flowers" is going to be still be near the summit, I mean, according to MMI its burn is ~15%, which is more than reasonable, and actually impressively low considering how overplayed it's been. Pop Year-End #1 is a given at this point. Wouldn't be surprised if it scores at least one more week at #1.

"Calm Down" keeps posting strong numbers in all metrics, it will slow down a little bit, but remain in the Top 3. There's no reason to not keep playing this banga.

"Boy's a liar Pt. 2" seems done to me at this point. Likewise, Sabrina should be close to peak, I mean, there's no point in keep pushing "Nonsense" now that it got its top 10 peak.

I think Pop is still testing EC, while callouts are not stellar, they keep improving pretty decently each week. Don't think it has too much potential left, but it shouldn't be dropped yet.

"Chemical" doing horrible with GP, which is hella disappointing. Pop was quick to push it, but it's just not clicking as it should be. Streams have also slowed down significantly. A shame because the song sounds perfect made for radio.

While LN seems to be slowing down, I don't think it's going to miss the Top 10, it's at least reaching the region. Some big station hesistant about playing the song, but it's just growing the way country crossover tend to do.

Next Top 10 placements should belong to "Karma" and LN. Probably being replaced: Bal and Nonsense. I don't see any other potential Top 10 hits near, or at least not obvious ones).

I don't think "Double Fantasy" is going to do much, song has constantly gotten worse scores. Weeknd really seems to have a hard time clicking with his new material overall (and I know it's "just" a soundtrack single).

Still doubtful about "Jaded" future, but I hope very good updates this upcoming week.

Can't understand how they keep spinning that horrendous "Mother" track. Hopefully it's over now that Mother's Day has ended.

Really? Weird! BB just added a bunch of stations to its Country Panel which draws from MB. Otherwise the Top 5 gains wouIdnt be +2000 spins last week shared that chart link above yesterday.

And LN is only +1 T40 spin & +0.043 audience. Its up to #11 but still 1200 spins behind #10. HAC & AC may still increase airplay but LN is dying in that T40 #11-15 zone that kills most Country crossovers. Fancy Like also stalled #11-15. I forgot FL yesterday.

lol, don’t remind me about this. I’m still annoyed that Pop radio dropped Fancy Like that way (costing it a chance at a Hot 100 #1), but refused to ever let go of Stay. We’re almost 2 years in, and Stay is still #6 in recurrents (and gained this past week), while FL is nowhere to be found:

Can't understand how they keep spinning that horrendous "Mother" track. Hopefully it's over now that Mother's Day has ended.

Don't forget that DFY is still charting at #6 on Pop. We're more than halfway through the Billboard tracking year, and Flowers still has quite a long way to go to catch DFY, lol.

I hope Mother (as well as Flowers) gets dropped because Mother's Day is over, but I'm not going to get my hopes up because somehow radio is still trying to push Cinderella Snapped, despite March Madness being long over.

Beautiful song, I wish Pop would support it more.

His songs are getting too repetitive to me. And they all mesh into one.

Absent an "official" remix I think LN peaks at #11 CHR, that 11-15 graveyard of so many Country crossovers regardless of metrics. Nonsense may drop below LN but Karma will jump it. BAL is losing a little faster but is 1500 spins above Nonsense. Wallen ties Kenny Rogers Lady today for longest #1 Country H100 run, 6 weeks. And LN is now 300+ weekly points & well ahead of all other songs. I guess let's see how far Wallen/Big Loud want to go from here. A LN remix & another video (he only has audio, lyric & "session" clips now) might make LN #1 for 2023. But getting this far without remixes and while also #1 Country Airplay might be all he wants/needs to "prove" too.

For those who might find this interesting, a great explanation on how streaming and radio audiences don't necessarily overlap.

Well weird BBs Monday Country weekly update includes an updated airplay chart without Friday's big gains implying a panel change. So maybe BB mistook MBs panel shrinkage for gains. The chart looks the same rankings wise but the +2000 spins & +5 million audience gains are gone. country_update_2023_0515.pdf

Sure Thing is now #1 on Pop. Chemical passes BaL, and is likely to pass DFY tomorrow. It looks like we’re done with the BS.

Harry Styles - "Satellite"
