2. Flowers: 16928 (+126) | 51.151 (+0.288)

This is ridiculous. Just when you think things were returning to normal, Pop pulls this BS. Pop needs to gut Flowers, and just let Sure Thing be #1 on Sunday.

Karma might be able to get up to number 11 this week and then top ten next week, that was super quick.

Here for Sabrina going top ten finally!

Crazy to me that Kill Bill seems to be falling faster than Creepin' even though the former seems newer to me (I know they came out around the same time, but still).

You have a point, "Creepin'" has been easily more played than KB and the later has spent 13 weeks in the Top 10 vs Creepin's 16.

OT: A serious drought on Pop radio right now, can't entirely blame programmers, research and consumption are not exactly showing anything different. "Chemical" seems to be slowing down, and it's not looking too good I must say, callouts are very disappointing considering its rank. Maybe they'll improve, but idk...

Pop could go out of their comfort zone and add songs like Ella Baila Sola, La Bebe, and un x100to. That would be a lot better use of the spins than playing Flowers and Creepin incessantly.

I'm surprised this is still holding up, despite it being removed as an OTV on American Top 40. I thought that cause this to lose a huge chunk of its spins. I wonder what stations are still holding onto this.

Actually the radio station I listen to daily still plays it. WIXX-FM. Looks like audience for that station is liking it.

Weird observation but I've just noticed that EVERY single station that's pushing Jaded is not owned by iHeart.

0 of the 20 stations that added Jaded this week were owned by iHeartMedia. The stations playing this song are all owned by secondary companies, which explains the low audience.

The more I look into it, the more obvious it gets. Does anyone have insight on this? Is it a normal thing for new singles or could something be going on? :deadbanana2:

This happens a lot in Canada too. iheart tend to own the big city stations and they tend to be so safe/conservative. But to look at this half glass full, this will give Jaded more room to grow. :gaycat3:

Yes for sure :heart2: ty for the optimism! I'm finally starting to see it get a few spins on bigger stations so it's looking a bit better

Also, looks like it was just added to a new format (AC)

it got an extra push by the label to be #1 officially on Sunday . it happens with alot of songs.

The Top 10 is an absolute mess right now :dies: Flowers back to +100 update, everything falling and Post, Boys a Liar and Players already peaking. Pop music is so awful right now.

I'm really surprised about Chemical. I know it's not smashing, but it sounds like a radio smash. Hopefully it gets a second wind and keeps going. And hopefully Karma keeps going strong, heard it on the radio yesterday and it sounded great :alexz:

Yeah I know but there’s songs that go #1 and keep getting positive updates. So CD going straight to red after reaching the top for one week just was surprising.

I see. They could still push it some more to try and get a 2nd week. Like Flowers getting big updates again, I believe they can do that to CD too. Just wondering!

Pushed songs usually don't get multiple weeks at number one unless the top spot is fairly weak. To be fair I don't think Calm Down was even pushed, it had a fairly organic climb to the top and now that it got there it's having a fairly normal descent from it too. It could still recover and gain a second week at number one, but I wouldn't bet on it because of how strong Flowers' updates still are.

Still, a number one is a number one and I think that's reason enough to celebrate, especially since this means Selena's been having number ones for an entire decade at this point.
