Hasn't that been the case since early 2020, though? I'd rejoice if Pop radio even went back to the 2017-2019 speed of turnover.

I wouldn't know i began following last year

A little expected that KB was lowkey pushed to the top, it deserved at least a week for the longevity is having on all metrics. However, it seems to have lacked callouts compared to strong reception for "Flowers" and "Creepin'". "Flowers" is still very strong and among audience's favorite, unfourtanely. Personally, I always switch the station the moment it starts playing. The "As It Was" of the year.

Rema and Selena Top 3 :clap3: It's come a long way, not sure if it's going to reach the top, but it might have a chance. Callouts improving while we speak, great streaming and "Flowers" has significant burnout rate allegedly (and logically).

Miguel has everything to go to the top, and I'm rooting for it. Honestly, it's fascinating to look up the chart and see two 2011 songs and one 2016 songs being in the Top 20, almost all 3 of them inside the Top 10 in 2023! Crazy how the dynamics are changing nowadays.

Ed looks safe to reach a Top 10 placement in the upcoming days, but I'm not so sure about its future, streams and audience's reaction don't seem to correspond to the airplay rank, it's only based on Ed's history on Pop radio and it's a lead single, but it might stall in the lower region of the Top 10. I picture "Take My Breath" as an example.

"River" really came and went, poor single choice, "Jaded" already Top 50 is very good. "Flowers" still atop lol.

So many songs that are just not clicking with GP, my God, it isn't surprising Pop doesn't move on from the same hits in the Top 10. Nevertheless, "ceilings" deserves way more push, plus, it would be a great song to mix with all the other genres. But of course, Pop takes its time with "slow" songszz.

If you remember from the very beginning Flowers had a high BO rate, 40% on MB RTM 1st wk. So if Flowers is wearing out now then its lucky that didn't kick in till now.

I can't figure out Last Night's airplay ceiling/max. I seriously doubt LN can get far at Rhythmic, unless Morgan decides to add a remix with a top-level Urban/Hip-Hop artist, not completely impossible. I can't see it getting past the lower Top 10 at POP (but the good remix could help there too) although HAC & AC could push it Top 5 on their charts. Given what remixes producers do these days Wallen will probably have a LN dance mix soon too.

Bottom line, LN will likely stay/return to #1 Sales & Streaming but I don't see it going #1 on Radio Songs. So LN must use consumption to replace its sure fire airplay shortfalls.

Country

Bailey Zimmerman - "Religiously"

Luke Combs - "Love You Anyway"

Luke should have pushed his cover of "Fast Car" instead. That one seems to be connecting better with the GP. It will be interesting to see how these two songs perform, and if Bailey is truly the next big country star after Morgan.

Biggest win of today's update: Wrapped Around Your Finger is out of the Top 50. Hopefully, they finally 'quiet purge' this one like they did with 2 Be Loved earlier in the year.

But I need Flowers and Calm Down to start having negative updates already. FOB's song could use some of those spins.

I think a top 40 on the Hot 100 is just a miracle at this point since the song it’s just stalled in the 70-100 on Spotify US. But radio seems to love the song so I’ll be happy with a top 12 placement on Pop radio and 20 weeks on the Hot 100, which both are impressive for her and give her a good slot to follow up with Feather which is another song very loved by the public that have heard the song so it has potential to be another hit for the queen :WAP:

This is a good idea, especially since the tour will go on till August at least. I expect Nonsense to be done soon, so pushing Feather afterwards would be a good choice, considering it already has so many streams despite being a non-single.

Well Morgan has 2 songs pushed at once now, One Thing At A Time, the "Country" song & Last Night which Country radio has also taken cause of its crossover appeal. If there's ANY artist other than Wallen who could have 2 current songs at Country radio at 1× it would be Luke Combs.

I'd argue that Bailey just did that with Fall in Love and RaaHP. If I remember correctly, the latter was already being pushed while the former was still on the rise in country radio. I'm still amazed that RaaHP broke the spin record on country, and it can definitely crossover to Pop or HAC.

Wallen is the 1st artist ever to have 3 solo songs in the Top 15 on BB'S County Airplay Chart at once, dating back to Jan '90. Thought You Should Know is #5, OTAAT #10 & LN #13.

Coming hopefully. This definitely feels like the Bad Blood of the album.

I hope she does Midnight Rain as a fourth and final single in the fall.

Oh great, I thought she was going to push AOTGYLB. :eli: Pop radio is certainly still thirsty for more Taylor music, especially if it clicks very well with the GP as "Anti-Hero". "Karma" is very summery, I like it.

I'd love this. "You're On Your Own, Kid" still has my heart and is my fave from the album. :dancehall::heart2: But MR has more radio potential. So the pressure is on for Karma to kill it, so the era can keep going. 🤞
