I can't believe Bloody Mary is going top 10 tomorrow! The song has had a great run.

I'm not ready for the -300 updates that will follow the week after though :-* But a top is still a top 10.

Let's pray for a second wind a la Calm Down after this.

lol, please no second wind. We already have a serious logjam at the top, with that Top 4 absolutely not budging and Lavender Haze/Calm Down getting very late pushes. No need to add to this by giving Bloody Mary a second wind. These spins should be given to the newer songs. It's pretty embarrassing that songs that haven't been out a month, like the ones by Pink and JVKE, are already getting negative updates, while months old songs like LH and CD are still gaining and DFY is parked at 15k spins.

The some old songs clogging the top 4 is the fault of radio (programmers). They should have a faster turnover rate when it comes to new music.

But I'm with you when you say there's no point in pushing a song that had its moment 2-3 months ago. It's just nice to Gaga have another radio hit after so long.

You saying Country radio is not playing the sing because it’s too country?

No lol I'm just saying its more traditional than any other songs she's ever released & its a change for her. More traditional Country has begun to succeed again though.

As for Taylor Swift, don't expect a 3rd single any time soon. It seems like she doesn't want to let the first, Anti-Hero, go because there are rumors of an Anti-Hero remix with Abel and Nicki. I don't understand the move, as that song has already served its purpose, unless she is really that desperate for the YE #1. If anything, she should do a remix for Lavender Haze to get it to #1 on the weekly charts.

There should be a Karma remix ft Abel, not Anti Hero. :rip: That would be the perfect launch for the song as new fresh material.

Testing of potential third singles must have bombed then :skull: I mean, not surprising considering the hesitancy to play Lavender Haze, but still, what a weird random thing to do for AH

Maybe it was just a hint that he will be on a Taylor remix. It might actually be for Karma :duca: She closes her tour with that song so it makes sense. It's also one of her "popular" songs on tik tok.

Ugh lemme hope, Karma was instantly my favorite song on the album when I first heard it (and still is). It's also one of the few Taylor songs my bf likes lol.

I asked why her song was doing so bad

you replied saying the song was too country compared to her usual country pop singles. sure, it’s a change for her

yet you said the song is her most country sounding song

so going back to my first post, why would her most country sounding song be doing so bad?

This is just a guess since her song's out of character for her. I didn't say this IS why just that this could be a factor.

Billboard’s tracking week ends on Thursday (so their chart is based on the Friday morning update), while Mediabase’s tracking week ends Saturday (which is why their published updates are on Sunday).

But yeah, Mediabase should go back to Friday published updates (like they were back in the day) to match the Billboard tracking week.

As long as it goes #10 on BB charts its fine!

There is like 900~ spins lead compared to the competition so it should be fine until Sunday.
