I don't even understand the appeal of the song either. AIW is just plain and boring. There is no reason for this song to have this high of an audience a year later, considering that the era has been abandoned, with the 2nd and 3rd singles being off the charts for months now.

I agree. I'm surprised Pop is touching it though considering it's country and Morgan is controversial with non-country audiences (pop radio hates controversy - they like it as plain jane and friendly as possible).

One thing I noticed about the hot ac format. They seem to be very dance-pop these days. Like Back in 2008-2010 they were still soft-rock, while pop was dance-pop. Now they prefer dance-pop more than the pop format.

Pretty obvious that Cinderella Snapped update is payola fueled. How else can you explain the song suddenly getting big positive updates in April, when it struggled the whole 2nd half of March?

It’s on borrowed time. This is its 24th week, and Pop doesn’t let songs this old continue to grow indefinitely, so it’s only a matter of time before it’s dropped. If you don’t believe me, just look back to late November/early December when Pop suddenly dropped UIFY when it was starting to explode on streaming and Hot AC.

That's just your tastelessness, sorry. It's a perfect pop song, and imo one of her best lead/radio singles. Despite the personal and vulnerable side of the lyrics, it's somehow relatable too, and very catchy.

Midnight Rain seems like the natural next single, but it was already serviced to radio so I'm not sure. Would love for Karma to be a single, it sounds like pop radio candy.
