Ok, so taking this decline into consideration, Katy's actually declining by around 65% if she pulls a 100k week after her performance at the Grammys. And I believe the market decline is worse if we only look at new songs.

Current digital single sales: Declined 10.3% from 2013 to 2014 Declined 14.5% from 2014 to 2015 Declined 31.9% from 2015 to 2016* *at mid-year, but at mid-year the overall decline was 23.9% (which is pretty close to the actual figure of 25%), so I think it's safe to say current single sales declined by over 30% from the end of 2015 to the end of 2016
