Apparently, it has never been confirmed that Khelif even has XY chromosomes - someone from the IBA claimed this without evidence, but no actual results were released. She's a cis woman, assigned female at birth, with hyperandrogenism. It's genuinely kind of surreal watching the TERF crowd and its antifeminist allies accuse her of being a "man". Feels like it goes to show how A) transphobia harms cis women, too, and B) transphobia is linked to white supremacy, with Khelif being deemed a "man" because of her not living up to eurocentric beauty standards. EDIT: Editing to correct myself—it's actually not been confirmed that Khelif has hyperandrogenism, either. No results confirming this have been released.30 points

This man is an idiot beyond measure. It's comical and scary all at the same time. At first you want to laugh, but then you take a second and remember he's serious. But also, millions of people agree with him. This all just feels like the matrix.25 points

Attention Maticones! I hope you've been having a brat summer I have a special announcement to make... My debut EP 'The Plea' is out in a week's time on August 7th! These five songs are the beginning of my story. I named it The Plea because, like an innocent man being judged in a trial, it symbolizes a mixture of helplessness and resilience. Being at the mercy of great forces in life beyond one's control, but also the desire to assert oneself nonetheless and strive towards life as it should be lived. It includes previously released "Snow Angel", "Great Escape", and "Close Your Eyes", as well as two brand new songs "Glowing" and "The Winner/El Vencedor". I have a exclusive snippet of "Glowing" to share, which is the release focus track: You can pre-save the EP now (and help a baguette get playlisted dddd but for real): https://ffm.to/thepleaep TONS of new music, shows, videos and much more coming very soon, things are about to really start ramping up for me. You can follow me on social media via my LinkTree if you'd like but I will make sure to keep this thread updated as well. Thanks for listening and being along for this ride19 points

I agree. The Katy Perry fans who keep bringing up Spotify and YouTube stats from three US presidential administrations ago to deflect from #63–OUT truly can't move on17 points

EDIT: It seems to be a biopic! The Ankler has learned that Universal Pictures has landed the rights to Britney Spears' massive bestselling memoir, The Woman in Me. Jon M. Chu, whose Wicked is about to be released through the studio, is attached to develop to direct. Oscar-winning producer Marc Platt, his collaborator on Wicked and the producer of La La Land is also attached. A source puts the rights deal in the eight figures, with rights to Spears' vast music catalog as part of the arrangement. The best moment from Walz, for me, was when he was asked if his record would be seen as "too liberal" because he passed free breakfast for school kids. Him laughing and saying, "Heaven forbid children go to class with a full stomach when they're trying to learn." THAT is the exact energy Democrats have been needing to embrace when defending progressive policy. They instead get scared and shift to the right and it drives me insane. There's nothing embarrassing about wanting universal healthcare. Call out your opponent for thinking not all Americans deserve healthcare and beat the Republicans' ass for not supporting basic policy ideas. Democrats always assume defeat and not only is it embarrassing, it's also bad politics.15 points

But does even that change what the OP said? Regardless of any chromosomes, she is not a man nor a trans man, which is what these people are peddling as having been the case, which is what the OP is addressing.14 points
