I also think it's true that we all employee varying degrees of cognitive dissonance about all our faves and their wealth/business ventures. But something about all this is so icky to me. Maybe because it's so at odds with the image she curated early in her career or maybe because it's so disconnected from her music/artistry, but it just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
