Did we ever really dissect the Verizon commercial. I get it was hard to focus with the music. Beyonce’s acting was so good in the commercial. It's sad that men in rap will never have to have their art referred to as a "male rap wave" but women in rap have to deal with their popularity, likability and art being referred to as "waves" and "trends". The men who consume rap music are constantly playing judge on when they deem it cool or not to dig female rap. As long as females exist, which will be always, female rap will never be over.
