Kiss It Better Posted December 28, 2017 Author Posted December 28, 2017 16. The Weeknd - Party Monster Spoiler Party Monster is just one of a couple videos that Abel released this year, but this one is my favorite. It's very gothic and it has really great editing. I wish Lana made a cameo somehow but well.. 15. Kesha - Praying Spoiler She finally released new music after what she's been going through. Though I don't really like her new music like that, but Praying is a powerful ballad and the video is really deep and it has excellent color, concept, editing and all.
Kiss It Better Posted December 28, 2017 Author Posted December 28, 2017 (edited) 50. Demi Lovato - Sorry Not Sorry The first time I listened to the song I was shook and I thought it was gonna flop because pop girls are flopping big time at that moment. But, surprise! Sorry Not Sorry became Demi's biggest song, peaked at #6 I wish it could've had entered top 5 and get a Grammy nomination that she wanted but well.. 49. Camila Cabello - Havana (ft. Young Thug) Havana was released the same time as OMG and I instantly thought that this is the superior song and this would be the IT song for her but at that time OMG was charting higher on iTunes and I instantly thought that Camila just will not happen. But about a month later, Havana became a surprise hit. Suddenly everyone are playing this song and I'm happy about it. 48. Calvin Harris - Rollin (ft. Future & Khalid) One of couple bops from Calvin Harris this year, It's very catchy and better than the previous songs that he released (Heatstroke and Slide). Khalid's annoying voice fits the song and Future's too, I love how Calvin is making Funk/EDM song with Hip-Hop artists and it worked well. 47. Zara Larsson - Sundown (ft. Wizkid) The hit that could've been from miss Zara, it sounds like Justin Bieber's Sorry, lowkey with Wizkid it could've been a mini One Dance sized hit. The song is very catchy and addictive. 46. The Chainsmokers & Coldplay - Something Just Like This This is the first (and only) Chainsmokers song that I like and claim, when I first heard it from BRITs Awards I immediately like it. It's also one of my crush's favorite song back in spring so I like it even more It deserves Closer's success tbh 45. Lorde - Supercut I'd say this song is like Green Light 2.0 it's very catchy and it definitely has to be a single and the GP better not make it a flop like they did to PP and HD 44. Jhene Aiko - Sativa (ft. Swae Lee) The best song from Jhene's new album "Trip", with Swae Lee's charming vocals and the relaxing instrumental and vibe to it. I'd say this is like Jhene's Cold Sweat 43. Dua Lipa - Thinking Bout You A beautiful acoustic song by Dua Lipa, top 3 best on the album. With relatable lyrics and Dua's crisp vocals 42. Taylor Swift - End Game (Ft. Ed Sheeran & Future) The only collaboration on reputation, I wonder why didn't Taylor release this earlier it could've been an instant hit for her with the IT artist right now, Ed and Future. Out of the three I think Ed's verse is the best one. 41. Nick Jonas - Remember I Told You (ft. Anne-Marie & Mike Posner) A bop released by Nick Jonas, I wonder why this song flopped it's really good and the video is good too. It deserved Rockabye's success. Kiss It Better Posted December 29, 2017 Author Posted December 29, 2017 14. Clean Bandit - Symphony (ft. Zara Larsson) Spoiler The video has a very great message. It had me in tears it's so powerful. 13. SZA - Supermodel Spoiler Out of some videos that she released this year, I think this is the best one. It's my favorite video of her. At first, I didn't get the concept of the video then I watched it again and again and finally I understand the meaning of the video. She looks very gorgeous in the video.
Kiss It Better Posted December 29, 2017 Author Posted December 29, 2017 (edited) 40. Drake - Can't Have Everything The instrumental, the production, the lyrics, the flow are just perfect. 39. N.E.R.D. & Rihanna - Lemon The latest bop by Rihanna! At first I didn't like it but it grew on me, to be honest Rihanna is the only good part in the song but it goes off!! 38. N.E.R.D. & Kendrick Lamar - Don't Don't Do It! I loved it since I heard the snippet last month and when the song came out I had it on repeat, the best song on the album tbh. 37. Tove Lo - stranger Miss Tove Lo didn't come to play!! Another sadmad bop from her, I'd say it's True Disaster's sister but better. The production & lyrics are 36. French Montana - Unforgettable (ft. Swae Lee) (Mariah Carey Remix) I love the OG version but the Mariah remix sounds even better. At first I thought it was The Weeknd singing but it's Swae Lee It deserved #1 spot ugh f*** Despacito 35. Taylor Swift - So It Goes... It's something very different from her, I hope she'd do more songs like this. The production is excellent. 34. Katy Perry - Bon Appetit To be honest, when I heard the snippet I instantly hated the song and I hoped that it'd get scrapped then in April when rumors started she's gonna release this and featuring Migos, I fumed and tweeted her to cancel it because I'd unstan and it's gonna ruin her career welp. But then the song was released and.. It's a bop and half! I bought it and I had it on repeat and like few hours later the solo version leaked and it's even better so I listened to the solo version instead to this day. If the Ariana feature rumors were true maybe it would've been a cute top 20 hit for her ugh 33. Tinie Tempah - Text From Your Ex (ft. Tinashe) It's one of the first releases of the year, and my first bop of the year that I had on repeat like everyday. It deserved to be a huge hit like All My Friends but sadly it flopped 32. Kendrick Lamar - HUMBLE. Kung-fu Kenny did THAT! Another #1 hip-hop bop, one of his best songs. 31. Taylor Swift - Look What You Made Me Do To be honest, if I were to rate the album this song wouldn't be in top 5 and it would be below So It Goes & End Game BUT I had it on repeat since the release until about a month later and the video is really great and the lyrics are relatable in some way and I just love it so it deserves to be at this position in my list. Kiss It Better Posted December 29, 2017 Author Posted December 29, 2017 25. Jhene Aiko - Trip The album is really good but it's too looooooooooooooooooooong I wish she get rid of some tracks, it could've been better with just about 14 tracks or so.. Sail Out remains her best work though.Key tracks: Sativa / While We're Young / Psilocybin (Love in Full Effect) 24. Tyler The Creator - Flower Boy The first Tyler's project that I listen in full, I love it. Key tracks: November / 911/Mr Lonely / Ain't Got Time 23. PLAZA - SHADOW Thanks to Spotify playlists because PLAZA is just one of many great musicians that I discovered through Spotify playlists. This is an EP but what's the difference anyway It's a cohesive alternative R&B EP, if you like the old Weeknd music you'd definitely like this one too. He also just released 2 brand new songs last week, y'all should check it out as well.Key tracks: Personal / Over 22. LANY - LANY I don't really know who they are actually, I just found this album on the new releases tab so I listened and it's really good, one of the members is Dua Lipa's boyfriend btw. Key tracks: Hurts / Hericane / Super Far 21. Lana del Rey - Lust For Life This is truly the first Lana album that I can actually listen in full without getting bored or sleepy. I love the whole album (except like 2-3 songs) and I also love the features. Lust for Life is Lana's best album!!! PERIOD. Key tracks: Summer Bummer / Lust For Life / Get Free
Pink Matter Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 Trip, Flower Boy, and Lust For Life Great album picks!

Kiss It Better Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 12. Lorde - Green Light Spoiler At first I felt like the video was just okay.... but after the album came out I felt the video more and I started to like the video more and I finally get the meaning of the video. It's really good. I feel her authentic 'choreo'. 11. Nick Jonas - Remember I Told You Spoiler The video is very simple and minimalistic, but I love videos that are simple and eye-catching. It fits the song's sound which is house-y.
Kiss It Better Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 30. Katy Perry - Tsunami I loved it since the first snippet was published on her ig story and finally when the album came out, at first I was kinda disappointed idk why but play by play it grew on me and I finally love it like I do now. 29. Lana del Rey - Summer Bummer (ft. A$AP Rocky & Playboi Carti) This is Lana's first song that I actually have on rihpeat and I keep playing without getting bored since its release. Truly her best song! Hip-hop really worked well on her. I hope she will do more songs like this. It was one of my summer jams. 28. Lorde - Homemade Dynamite When she premiered this song at Coachella I lost my ****!!!!! It's soooooo good omgggg I kept playing the Coachella version (same with Sober and Sober II) until the album finally came out The remix is really good too, SZA and Khalid added something to the song but the album version remains superior! I wish Tove Lo was on the remix instead though. 27. DJ Khaled - Wild Thoughts (ft. Rihanna & Bryson Tiller) A summer anthem!! F*** Despacito for blocking this song which was also Khaled's fault for releasing the song both too early and too late. I had it on rihpeat when it dropped. The video is really good too. 26. Katy Perry - Power WOOOO!!!!!!!!! The song that I was waiting for on Witness album!!! When she posted the snippets on instagram I thought it was Tsunami's bridge or something but this is a whole different song it's really good! I'd say it's her best song, should've been a single or promo single. It was also the first song that I went to when Witness le*ked. The first listen was AN EXPERIENCE! 25. Dua Lipa - New Rules When her album came out and this was announced as the single I was like, 'wtf Dua this is really bad ' then about 3 weeks later the video came out and... WOW This song is a bop and has really good lyrics, it's catchy and it suddenly became a hit and went top 5 in so many countries except America yall are so slow. Not the best song from the album, probably not even top 5 but it's really good.. Miss Dua did THAT! 24. Lady Gaga - The Cure When she played it at Coachella, I LOST IT! I was like, 'WOW GAGA WTFF THIS IS SO GOOD' It's so catchy, with the house-ish sound and then the song came on iTunes and I bought it and I had it on rihpeat I thought it would be bigger than Million Reasons but sis didn't bother to promote it or do a video and instead she released a lyric video that nobody can read 23. SZA - Supermodel A SONG!!!!! Just like Consideration, when the album dropped I felt just like it's a good song but as time goes by the song became A FAVORITE. It's a great opening song, it's SZA's personal favorite from the album as well and it's nominated for a GRAMMY!! I do hope it will win because it deserves to win. It's one of my current favorite songs right now as well, if I was biased I'd put it on top 5 just because it's my fave song right now. 22. SZA - Normal Girl Miss Solana really did THAT with this album! Normal Girl has great lyrics, great production and the Drake sample. It's just perfect. Since she keep performing this song in several TV/Award shows I do hope she's gonna do a video for this song. 21. Kingdom - Down 4 Whatever (ft. SZA) Another song by miss Solana. It's one of the first songs that came out this year, before Love Galore. I listened to Kingdom's album there were 2 SZA collabs and this is the outstanding one. It's really good, with some chill house vibes to it and relatable lyrics "I be feeling you even when you ain't around me I be in a million pieces when you around me I be missing you even when you be around me"
Kiss It Better Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 (edited) 20. Zara Larsson - So Good I didn't and never listened to her music before the album, not even Lush Life. So, when I listened to this album for the first time, I was surprised for how good it is and Lush Life reminds me of pop Rihanna, so I think she is like the white Rihanna in some ways. In conclusion So Good is so good. Key Tracks: Lush Life / Sundown / TG4M 19. Kehlani - SweetSexySavage The first 2017 album that I listened to, it's better than her mixtape it's really good but it has some fillers that could've been cut from the album. Key Tracks: CRZY / Piece of Mind / Keep On 18. Halsey - hopeless fountain kingdom. The album came out in the beginning of June, where I was really upset, like the lowest point of my life this year so I couldn't listen to it for some times because it just remind me of that time until this month I can listen to this album in peace. Key Tracks: Walls Could Talk / Alone / Strangers 17. Drake - More Life The album premiered on OVO Sound radio, it was 5am here and when I turned on it was a transition from track 2 to Passionfruit oh God he slayed me with Passionfruit at 5am It's much better than Views. Key Tracks: Passionfruit / Can't Have Everything / Teenage Fever 16. Calvin Harris - Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 My summer album of the year!! Calvin really did great on doing funk music, I like this Calvin more than the old one. Can't wait for Vol. 2 if it really exists. Key Tracks: Slide / Rollin / Skrt On Me Edited December 30, 2017 by Kiss It Better
TheWayWeWere Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Green Light amazing vid for amazing song Summer Bummer is a JAM should've been a smash Homemade Dynamite love this bop Power is one of my faves from WItness New Rules and The Cure pop perfection Normal Girl > Supermodel > Kindgom song all are amazing tho SSS is too long yes, but overall it's great HFK was so surprisingly great
Nikko Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Havana and Supercut The Praying video was an experience.
Navyofbadgals Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Lemon, Stranger, Tsunami, New Rules, WT and so much more also Flower Boy and LFL
Kiss It Better Posted December 31, 2017 Author Posted December 31, 2017 15. Demi Lovato - Tell Me You Love Me Demi's best album!! It deserved a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Album, idk if it could be eligible 2019 Grammy but if it doesn't then Demi should've had waited a week to release the album. The album has no skips, no fillers. I think Demi finally found her sound with this album, pop with R&B influence really suits her voice really well. I say it again, it's Demi's best album!!! Key Tracks: Sorry Not Sorry / Lonely / Smoke and Mirrors 14. Logic - Everybody I never heard of Logic before, I knew him from my ex-crush when he dropped the lead single, which is the title track it's really good and I loved it so I was hyped for his album and when the album dropped on May 5th, WOW it's excellent, cohesive body of work. Key Tracks: Everybody / Take It Back / Phone Number 13. Kendrick Lamar - DAMN. DAMN! King Kendrick came through as usual!! TPAB remains his best work though but this one is different. Key Tracks: LOYALTY. | HUMBLE. | FEEL. 12. NERD - NOONE EVER REALLY DIES I had no idea about NERD before Lemon, I thought the album would be bad because at first I didn't really like Lemon either but about 2 weeks later, Pharell played the album at this event (I forgot where) and there were some videos on twitter anf youtube and WOW the songs are really good, the Kendrick features, MIA, etc 3 weeks ago the album finally came out and WOW it's straight up fire It's really cohesive and it's really good. Key tracks: Don't Don't Do It / Kites / Lemon 11. Syd - Fin Syd is 1/5 of The Internet. She's really talented, this album is her debut and it's one of the first albums that was released this year. Months later, it still sound fresh. It's very cohesive. I wish she'd get the recognition like SZA. Key Tracks: Shake Em Off / All About Me / Over
Navyofbadgals Posted December 31, 2017 Posted December 31, 2017 Never listened to Logics album, but the rest of the update is pure fire whew
Kiss It Better Posted December 31, 2017 Author Posted December 31, 2017 20. Lorde - The Louvre When the tracklist was revealed, I knew that this one would be THAT song and I was right. I was expecting some Ribs level of slayage and excellence but it's not a Ribs but it's The Louvre. It's in its own level, it's excellence, spectacular. 'megaphone to my chest, broadcast the boom boom boom and make em dance to it' WHO WOULD WRITE LYRICS LIKE THAT OTHER THAN THE GENIUS, ELLA YELICH 0'CONNOR AKA LORD(E) Bow down to the queen. 19. Tove Lo - Disco T The first single off blue lips, I loved it since it was leaked it's A BOP!!! But I don't why did she pick this as the lead single when there are some other radio friendly tracks on the album. 18. DJ Khaled - Shining (ft. Beyonce & Jay-Z) Khaled's best song!!! It's better than Wild Thoughts and it deserves WT's success. 17. Azealia Banks - Crown A random release from queen of rap, it's so underrated. It's awesome, a bop. 16. Frank Ocean - Chanel King Frank came thru with this song y'all!!! A bisexual anthem!! A bop!!! 15. Daniel Caesar - Get You (ft. Kali Uchis) My favorite song at the moment, it's very romantic, chill, I'd play this at a wedding. His vocals 14. SZA - Wavy (Interlude) (ft. James Fauntleroy) James Fauntleroy always come through with these interludes first with James Joint and now Wavy, it deserves to be a full song. The fact that an interlude is better than many songs. 13. Taylor Swift - I Did Something Bad At #13 I have Taylor Swift This song is very new Taylor, the beat drops, production overall and the 'ratatatatatatatata dead drop' I really want a video for the song where she'll play a serial killer/witch 12. SZA - Love Galore (ft. Travis Scott) A grammy nominated timeless bop!! Been waiting for this since the snippet came out and it still goes off months later even until now. 11. Moonchild - The List The lyrics are so relatable The production it's very chill, it's just so good.
