Her longevity is insane.
Timber Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 Idk how I feel about this list, it's a bit messy because different things are measured when the SPS era started. The definition of the BB200 changed. This actually gives a pretty good advantage to Rihanna, who is one of the only females who still slays w/ singles. I think for the Artist of the Decade List Rihanna and Drake will be higher than we expect.
TKO Posted December 1, 2017 Posted December 1, 2017 Katy slaying with 2 albums and 4 singles Their formula tho How is Pure Heroine bigger than TD? A mess.

When the all time Hot 100 was last updated, Dark Horse was #100, but Shake It Off wasn't ranked at all. Now SIO is ahead of DH. EDIT: @istan4badgalriri How is SIO #8 ahead of DH #10 for the 2010s when DH is #33 all time and SIO is #46?

Due to changes in chart methodology over the years, eras are weighted differently to account for chart turnover rates over various periods. " The Billboard 200 counts streams & song sales, along with album sales. ANTI spent 2 weeks at #1, 19 weeks in the Top 5, 33 weeks in the Top 10, 47 weeks in the Top 20, 66 weeks in the Top 40 and 95 weeks in the Top 100... The album earned a lot of points with all those weeks spent in the Top 5/10/20.

A #1 album opening with 1M is counted with the same points as a #1 album opening with 65K....then after it's how they hold up relative with how the rest of the albums are doing. The following week that 1M opening album could drop to #10 selling 2K copies and the 65K album could sell 2.01 K and snatch say #8 and it would place higher in this chart. Given streaming is added to the album formula... that helps as well keeping albums a float. 100+90 = 190 99+92 = 191 Edited December 1, 2017 by Triton
