Renan90 Posted November 18, 2017 Author Posted November 18, 2017 For me, the second week of Taylor ends up being between 250-280k in sales 300k or more I find it very difficult

chiliam Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 (edited) Where is Eminem, i thought he was releasing and book SNL this week? So this mean Taylor will be #1 for rest of the year unless some random Christmas album blow up Hopefully Rep second week will be above Witness debut number :D Edited November 19, 2017 by chiliam
umich Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 The obsession with Katy — wondering who will get a boost, if any, from the amas tomorrow. Maybe P!nk and Kelly if their performance is great.

And both of them, moreso Tim lately, have had close to 25 years of sustained success at Country radio. Swift should make note of this, if she hasn't already done so. "Pop Girls" rarely last much more than ten years.
brianc33710 Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 Swift will get the SPS boost to lessen her fall, but I'll say 250k at most. Raw sales will probably drop by 85%. The AMAs probably won't have that much of an effect after such a huge first week. And I will admit that I was wrong earlier about Swift not reaching 1 M this time around. When I'm wrong, I try to own up to my mistakes.
ronelmaano13 Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 (edited) I'm predicting 100 - 120k pure, 120 - 130k SPS. Edited November 19, 2017 by ronelmaano13
Recordyear Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 Isn't Tim & Faith ticket bundled? It actually seems a little bit too low especially after Kenny Chesney's.

The album is still not on any streaming platforms so I wouldn't expect a boost in streaming. I think you're in the right neighborhood with 250k though.

blackbeatxx Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 So rep is still not on streaming? About 250k seems reasonable then...

So this mean Taylor will be #1 for rest of the year unless some random Christmas album blow up That's what I'm thinking. Buble might snatch her during the final X-mas tracking week, or Pentatonix or some other holiday staple. Had Eminem released she might've only led BB200 for a single week this time around, particularly because of SPS. 13 hours ago, Recordyear said: Isn't Tim & Faith ticket bundled? It actually seems a little bit too low especially after Kenny Chesney's. They only have 25 US dates (arenas) scheduled for 2018 so far, and not necessarily huge arenas either. Kenny's tour is expected to sell upwards of 1m tickets so they're looking at less than a quarter of his numbers at best. Mind you, since Tim & Faith are releasing a new studio album, have both of their fan-bases to draw upon, performed at the CMAs (to great applause), and are releasing during the Thanksgiving tracking week... debuting with < 100k seems a little low. That's ~35k less than Shania and country radio/TV hasn't abandoned them as they did her.

ronelmaano13 Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Let's be realistic, she's not gonna touch 250k even in SPS. She'll pass 100k but 200k is a struggle. She doesn't have any promo lined - up too.
iHype. Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Quote Taylor Swift, as expected, will repeat at #1. Tim McGraw and Faith Hill land at #2 with the week’s top debut. Barring any Black Friday surprises, Swift will also hang on to the top spot for a third week. Please note: due to the uncertainty of Thanksgiving evening shopping, our margin of error may be broader than usual. As will our midsections. Taylor Swift (Big Machine) 245-255k SPS, 230-240k Sales *Tim Mcgraw & Faith Hill (Arista Nashville) 110-120k, 105-115k Sam Smith (Capitol) 49-54k, 24-27k Chris Brown (RCA) 42-46k, 5-6k Post Malone (Republic) 37-40k, 4-5k Ed Sheeran (Atlantic) 37-40k, 13-15k 21 Savage, Offset & Metro Boomin (Slaughter Gang/Epic) 34-37k, 2-3k Imagine Dragons (Kidinakorner/Interscope) 31-34k, 13-15k Pentatonix (RCA) 29-32k, 23-26k Lil Uzi Vert (Generation Now/Atlantic) 28-31k, <1k Maroon 5 (222/Interscope) 28-31k, 13-15k P!nk (RCA) 27-30k, 19-22k Lil Pump (Tha Lights Global/Warner Bros.) 26-29k, 1-2k Kendrick Lamar (TDE/Interscope) 26-29k, 5-6k Khalid (Right Hand Music/RCA) 25-28k, 4-5k *Moneybagg Yo & Youngboy Never Broke Again (N-Less Entertainment/Never Broke Again) 22-25k, 4-5k Blake Shelton (Warner Bros.) 22-25k, 19-22k Gucci Mane (Atlantic) 17-20k, 1-2k XXXtentacion (Bad Vibes Forever/Empire) 16-18k, <1k A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie (Highbridge/Atlantic) 16-18k, <1k *DEBUTS 1 Was expecting 200-250k sales

Starkboy Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 So a 80% drop? Pretty good. Who's streaming Chris Brown's album?
