Congrats Gaga!!! Well deserved.

Is Abel gonna release a vid for IFIC or not?

sources said he was shooting video for Secrets. We don't know if he already has video for IFIC or he don't care about that song

Wait was Katy always set to debut this high? What? Is this real?

Also...can someone explain the changes made in the charts formula. I've heard about it but have yet to understand.

The chart has more movement now after the formula change. It was so slow because of the streaming.

And many of the people who want a faster chart with more turnover are the same ones complaining that sales count too strongly on the Hot 100, and BB shouldn't use them anymore lol.

Simm came up with a formula that seems to work for him when making Hot 100 predictions: Downloads/75 + Airplay/90,000 + Streaming/1,500.

Sales are definitely the fastest turnover.

I used to think radio was slow for turnover, until streaming came along.

Yes. While there are exceptions (Justin Bieber's Love Yourself stands out here), the songs start falling on the charts in this order: Sales first, followed by Airplay, then On Demand Streaming, and finally Overall Streaming.

Million Reasons actually has a chance to grow and stay on the chart unlike the previous two high reentries. MR has started making solid gains in airplay, and its streaming hasn't plummeted. Also, MR's sales are still strong. They tried to crossover the Chicks song to mainstream radio with virtually zero success (Country almost universally refused to play it, it peaked at #36 there). I'm not as sure about the Lopez/LL Cool J collab, but Wikipedia shows it peaked at #4. It's page also shows Control Myself was a much bigger Pop hit than Urban hit.
