Congrats to P!nk.

Looks like this and Taylor's album will be the two best selling female albums of the year.  :cm:

Amazing Numbers

Posted

Wow :clap3:

It has tour bundles, yes, but the numbers would've probably been huge without them so, congrats :clap3:

-----------

I hate how they don't give us the numbers without the tour bundles :ace: I would have no problem with artists doing this, as long as we had numbers without the tour bundles :beatfreak:

How is she doing that much with her lead flopping ? Impressive. Is the tour bundle thing responsible for these big numbers ?

P!nk has always been an album seller. She just keeps building her brand and having bigger debut numbers album after album.

Yes watching a youtube vid is so much more legitimate than paying for a concert ticket and getting an album with it :ahh:

Buying a ticket to a show and getting a free album generates no revenue for the label but counts as a full sale on the charts. 1 YT view counts for almost nothing.

Other artists barely did half of those numbers with the same tour bundles AND a hit lead.

Whew if only she performed I Am Here (and For Now) on SNL, Queen would obliterate the charts

Wow, impressive numbers! Congratulations!

P!nk would've still pulled huge numbers without the bundle, her fanbase is loyal and is still massively respected by the GP but wow :jonny:

This is impressive! The tour bundle is for sure helping her, but I think numbers would've been great even without it (and as a matter of fact if doing a tour bundle is a good commercial strategy, it should become the rules honestly!).

I'm so happy for her by the way, 17 years after her debut and still being so relevant in this climate..:clap3:

Pink is like the least relevant female popstar social media/tabloid wise but she always comes THROUGH w/ the sales. Goals tbh

Beyoncé, P!nk and Gaga will be the only female artists to have crossed 200k in 2016/2017 wow.

YES! :clap3: Only the queen herself! So proud of her. :smitten:

It's more like adding 5-10 dollars plus to a ticket price so the label still makes money. Do not think that they will give out 150k albums just free of charge, a cut of the ticket price goes to them bc of "free" albums too.

That gif with the thread title on the front page is making me :deadbanana2:

“With ticket bundling”

Youre spending MORE for a concert ticket and the cost of the album is built into it. How is this a bad thing? Lol. That means there’s demand. Bitches don’t even wanna spend $9.99-11.99 on iTunes for new music, buts an issue when people are spending $50+ on tickets and getting an album too? I don’t get it :michael:
