kevinnyc Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 It's amazing how it became a official single release debate...READY FOR IT? 10 days RIGHT after the LEAD single, just because of college football ON A SUNDAY, is it very hard to understand? Who the hell cares? Let's talk about something else on topic.
Rentboy Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 (edited) Sams moving back up on itunes & Spotify so hopefully any drop will not be drastic. I never know about radio stuff. Edited September 19, 2017 by Rentboy

She would’ve never had a #1 album if MJ’s album counted back in 2008.
volition Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 I can watch Ready For It on YouTube on my phone and have been able to since it came out, so maybe that excuse only applies to certain countries
Temporal Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 The title Kelly isn't any less relevant than she was when Heartbeat Song debuted at #37, she's just been screwed over by having god awful streaming numbers and sales (her strong suit) being deadweight at this point. Regardless, she hasn't had a big opening since 2009, so only time will tell what will happen with the song's overall performance. SO bitter about Demetria though, Jesus Christ. I'm still rooting for Top 5 at some point, but I might have to lower my hopes to just Top 10
Feather Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Does Cardi stand a chance for number one next week? Or will Taylor take the reign again? I really want her to hit number one so she will be the most successful artist to leave the LHH franchise.
Rentboy Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 Not sure being the biggest ex L&HH is that much of an accolade theres not much competition. K Michelle has 3 top 5 debut albums (#2,#6,#2). She's 5 years in the game. Not any flashy hits but consistent respectable success. Omarion had #13 hit. Joe budden, total flop. Hm who else?

Too Good At Goodbyes (-1) 7. Wild Thoughts (-1) 8. Attention (=) 9. Feel It Still (+5) 10. Slow Hands (+1) - or - Unforgettable (-3) I'm rooting hard for "Slow Hands" I think it's ridiculous that it's top 3 on radio and has a chance of missing the top 10. It's also ridiculous when you consider the only song that sold more this summer was DESPACITO. I kinda hate how hard streaming is hurting some songs that otherwise would've been smashes.

Both of these things are kinda shocking to me if true. These are important landmarks for a major artist. Nicki has come close, Anaconda would’ve went #1 if Taylor had not released Shake It Off that same week and it debuted at #1. She’s also had other songs come close. #2 Anaconda #2 BedRock #3 Bang Bang #4 Side to Side Demi has had 3 top singles and a #11. #9 This Is Me #10 Skyscrapper #10 Heart Attack #11 Cool for the Summer
SilencePlease Posted September 19, 2017 Posted September 19, 2017 (edited) Quote Kelly flops at #62 I think RFI is being pushed by the label to make up for LWYMMD's lack of longevity until they release single #2. Edited September 19, 2017 by SilencePlease

"Lack of longevity" when it's staying stable on iTunes, YouTube, and still climbing on radio - Congrats to Taylor, the only female #1 so far this year, getting yet another week on top Super happy for Cardi as well, it's refreshing to see females finally slaying the game again.
