Yes they had pre-order sales substracted.

Spotify promo has nothing to do with sales and airplay is debatable. Maybe a bit, but I'm fairly certain that the promo from RFI for the new Taylor era helped LYWMMD sales more than that potential airplay cost it.

No they didn't. That's a rule that was implemented the same week Out Of The Woods was released

.....

If you buy the single and then pre-order the album. That sale shows up on kworb pop bars, but is never reported as a sale by iTunes for the single. Just a pre-order for the album.

I know that if you do it the other way around it doesn't even show up on the pop bars anymore

Well, back then they not only did they show up for the pop bars, but they were reported to Billboard too. That's why some promo singles used to have large debuts due to album preorders alone!

Yeah. Annoying that they changed that.

Really thought Taylor would't put the album up for pre-orders because of that, but she clearly only cares about album sales

How likely is Cardi to get a number one in the coming weeks?

She definitely does. But now that she's willing to put her stuff up for streaming she'll be getting easy Top 10s again it seems, so it's a win-win situation!

And let's face it she's doing zero or less than zero promo, nothing. She'll fell next week or the week after. BY is the worst song of the year for me. Don't get it.

Album release coming in October. Thats exposure.

there are 3 (!!) solo female songs in the top4. remarkable.

2. Look What You Made Me Do 114,000 (-1) (-68%)

uhm. SIO had a 35% drop, WANEGBT a 51% one.

Expected though— as sales drop overall, percentage of sales that occur 1st week increases

Well, Look & Ready are also being effected by pre-order downloads not counting for sales anymore. HDD had reputation at 100k itunes pre-orders. It's to be expected. :celestial5:

Cardi girl DISCOUNT the song to 69c.

and pray that Eminem doesn't release a new song until later this month or next month.

I wish it was her red barz song because i like that 10x better BUT I root for underdogs so get that #1 for Bodak yellow.

Logic hopefully can score a #1 before Eminem releases too.

Looks second week was definitely affected by f4i having massive sales of 135k.  The drop is too be expected.  Think of it this way.  She sold about 250k singles last week.  Huge for 2017.  If she wanted higher sales for look she would not have released r4i so soon.  If she doesn't care, neither will I.
