It's not because there are countless albums that don't have hits at all (or had hits but don't anymore— think catalog albums like Anti, 2014 Forest Hills Drive, and Dangerous Woman) that aren't selling 1k/week but are still being consumed.

More Life has no hits at the moment and is not selling 1k/week. But it's getting 30 million streams every week. So it shouldn't chart?

The first two albums have residual streams from prior hits. The last has only streams. 1000 copies/week is a perfectly reasonable amount to qualify for eligibility on the BB 200. If at some point the #200 album (which we don't see, but probably 2000 - 2500) in raw sales falls below 1000/week, then we could revisit the topic. We're way down now, but not that low yet. I'll ask Gary if he can give me a rough estimate as to how much that bottom album still selld, but based on Roughstock numbers, I think 2000-2500/week is about right.

I believe that the only criteria that an album should need to satisfy to chart on the Billboard 200 is to be one of the 200 most consumed albums in the country, regardless of how much of that consumption is through streaming. I just find it pointless to disqualify an album that people are clearly consuming simply because a requisite number of people didn't make the choice to buy it in a given week.

Logic is definetely coming and same for Cardi B, things are getting exciting :duca:

And congrats to the amazing "Attention" for being #1 on Radio, one of the best songs this year. It's a shame "Wild Thoughts" happened quite fast. :frown:
