@Jackson For the rewrite challenge, is it from a entry we sent this season, or any season, and does the rewrite have to fit the constraints of that song’s challenge restrictions?

Does our rewrite have to adhere to the limitations of the round they're from? Like if I wanted to rewrite a song from Pick Your Poisons, would I still need both poisons?

 

Anyway, I have an idea as to how I want to approach this, but not specifically what I'll approach it with.

Me having to go to work at the most opportune times as usual.  But my wig flew when I saw uvie was the 4th finalist,  sis deserves this so much. Not that anyone else doesn't, but I can say I've been a proud lil Uvula since timepiece (which was still robbed btw!)

 

I could tell Saint was gonna make the finales but I'm so happy for Hug. From one "veteran" to another... we still got it, bitch!

 

Our Haus of Cards is still standing strong.  Congrats to the others, I can't wait to see which one(s) of you slays the PH12 competition too.

 

Jackson giving the gays everything they want with this challenge (lowkey predicted it in the HAUS PM thread tho ). I have a few ideas but will really have to put some thought into it once I'm home.

That actually leads me to a question, and it essentially echoes what has already been asked. For my rewrite I'm deciding between Confessions and Aftertaste right now and I'm unsure if I pick Aftertaste, if I can just make minor changes to what I have and expand on it/complete it? Or if it has to retain that "short song" vibe of the challenge.

It was submitted pre-fefe era, but it was just two verses and a repeated chorus for R1 (yet, still my peak in this season/game overall).  She's a beautiful girl and deserves to be completed.  I just re-read the original challenge post and there's actually nothing about length tho so I think I can do it!

aw thanks 4 the experience! i definitely think i should have been a finalist for storyline purposes because obviously i'm generally an absolute flop but i rose from the ashes with a smash hit #1 and that would have made a SICK finalist storyline with a full-blown NOVEL for a tribute piece at the end cause i overcame my inner saboteur. but whatever
