41wks for 24k magic is impressive. I guess TWIL will do more hopefully

Bruno needs to drop VOTF MV soon. I hope it can smash before TWIL dropped from Top 10

I think the "shocker" that can take down Despacito believe it or not is Unforgettable. It just needs a viral moment and it will.

Other than that it will be Wild Thoughts after Despacito ties the 16 week record.

•The Chainsmokers feat. Halsey - Closer (#1)

Ariana Grande feat. Nicki Minaj - Side to Side (#4)

•Machine Gun Kelly x Camila Cabello - Bad Things (#4)

• Zayn and Taylor Swift - I Don't Wanna Live Forever (#2)

Alessia Cara - Scars To Your Beautiful (#8)

Lady Gaga - Million Reasons (#4)

Katy Perry feat. Skip Marley - Chained To The Rhythm (#4)

Rihanna - Love On The Brain (#5)

Clean Bandit feat. Sean Paul and Anne-Marie - Rockabye (#9)

•Zedd and Alessia Cara - Stay (#7)

•Kygo and Selena Gomez - It Ain't Me (#10)

Miley Cyrus - Malibu (#10)

DJ Khaled featuring Rihanna and Bryson Tiller - Wild Thoughts (#2)

Only 13 female leads, features or part of a group have entered the Top 10 this year.

2 entries from Alessia Cara and Rihanna.

With Gaga going the highest with a solo song. That too for 1 week. The real winner in female solo is LOTB obviously!

what?

I mean Despacito is a very generic reggaeton song, it has been before, many many time, but for some reason this time it smashed.

Kind of ("Bailando" has always been superior to me, for example), but it has a nice speacial vibe on it, I don't know, it makes it sexy and so good (the original).

Its points are declining more than I thought, tho. ?

Despacito isn't breaking the record, it's declining, unexpectedly fast too.

and Bailando was way better than Despacito, i think Despacito just got hit with lottery. There's nothing special about it. I doubt people will love it next year.

Its still 280 points ahead of Wild Thoughts and the latter isnt increasing fast enough...

We need a 600+ point debut of a song to challenge Despacito

It's stable but yeah the record is really in danger. Does anyone know if WT is increasing or decreasing in points?

Last week it decreased from 397 to 394 points. It should increase a bit

Well, get ready because unless Pink or taylor's new song hits #1 before the VMAs the record is broken.

Define unexpectedly fast...??

And yes Despacito is generic and not great at all but that doesn't really matter because people actually like the song.

Bailando is superior. Poor ha but Bieber is on this song which is why it's so massive.

Despite it declining "unexpectedly fast," nothing is even close to dethroning it now or even in a month from now. Cardi B still has a long way to go, and "Wild Thoughts" doesn't really have much of a chance to close the gap unless Khaled discounts it in a few weeks when airplay improves.

10 703 (-2.4%)
11 678 (-3.6%)
12 643 (-5.1%)                         Wild Thougts 397

do despacito is declining pretty fast. it is losing around 30 points weekly. Wild Thoughts is losing like 5 points. pretty stable

                        Despacito               Wild Thoughts

13 week -           613                               390
14 week             594                               380-385
15 week             564                               ~370
16 week             534                               ~360
17 week             500                               ~350
18 week             470                               ~340

no matter how quick despacito will be losing, it will be still close to 450-500 points in tying week, and week after breaking.

even will Wild Thoughts will stay at 400 points every week, still no chance at #1. it need to rose high

How is Bruno that high on the Hot 100? I haven't heard that song in ages.
