Definitely! The song is having a great debut following an almost 5-year hiatus and a few underperforming singles. I'm so so happy for her!

I'm The One? That's What I Like? Shape Of You? Oh my gosh these songs are so STALE!! ? At least we got Believer & Wild Thoughts in there. Also, Despacito is at 9 weeks already?? We need to get us a blue shell!

And he's still only on 1/3 of the song

Lol if Slim Jxmmi had gotten a verse to replace one of French's, it could've been Rae Sremmurd's follow-up Top 10 to Black Beatles credit as RS ft. French Montana.

I'm getting mid-2000s teas with all these songs nobody's ever heard of charting so high. Wtf is Unforgettable?

Believer is just as old as That's Ehat I like and Shape of You.  It has charted for 23 weeks compared to 25 and 26 weeks respectively.

just because it's now just top 10 doesn't make it any less stale.

I think he's saying that he's tired of these songs. Believer had a pretty natural chart run thanks to the Nintendo Switch making it a smash with their commercials whereas SOY, TWIL and ITO were instant radio smashes and have been inescapable since.

My only problem with his statement is he praised Wild Thoughts - the stalest and most generic song he mentioned.

Welp, looks like Katy's Top 10 record is safe for now. Wouldn't put it past Despacito to snatch it tho, that song is just something else

Just AM'd it and I do know this song and love it. Still, we've gotten a string of random ass top 10s since XO Tour Life.

It's been playing (and dominating) on rock radio for months,  it's just as old and played ou4 as SoY and TWiL.

The average ATRLer doesn't listen to alternative radio.

I honestly can't see any of them hitting #1. I'm sure some of their "stans" will want to rip me apart for "shading" their idols. But I'm just being honest.
