The Weeknd and J. Cole had much better debuts than Ed here, so Drake certainly would have if Views had gone straight to Spotify. In fact, on Views's fourth day on Spotify (which was during its 3rd week of release, so its 18th day out), it did this: 1. One Dance (2.52M) 3. Pop Style (1.07M) 4. Controlla (913K) 9. Hype 11. They'll add max 60k point to the total (and Ed's streams are absolutely insane there) He won't touch her but I feel like he could have if he had released this past November There are some projections that he can add up to 90k album "sales" from streaming in the UK, but no way is he gonna sell more than Adele. Why everyone presumes that debut week would be much higher in November? I know that releasing at the end of the year brings more sales (but during the shopping period the selling spreads across weeks) but I don't see how it influences debut week. NSYNC debuted at 2.4 million in march of 2000, Drake sold almost 900k last may...

It shows demand for her music is there on Spotify, if she would get her head out of her ass about streaming. I think her copying what Adele did with 25 and only putting the singles on Spotify, and then possibly putting the album only on Spotify Premium after a few months would work.

iHype. Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Does anyone remember a while ago, Spotify used to have 'apps' you could download to use in it? Like that lyrics app? They had a whole section for apps to download inside. Does that stuff still exist I've made a few accounts since then, so I don't remember when the app thing fizzled out. Edit: Nvm, they discontinued it. They should bring it back

They were all removed a while back I wonder why
Wonderland Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 The app thing was cool. Why did they discontinue it?
