next interesting chart should be new year's day. that's when multiple classics show up on the charts. last new year's (2018 of course) songs like aretha's "respect", marvin gaye's "ain't no mountain high enough", m.i.a.'s "paper planes", dexys midnight runners' "come on eileen", queen's "don't stop me now", and outkast's "hey ya" charted. on top of that a few songs that were hits earlier in the year got a lil bump.

i wonder what new year's day 2019's chart will look like in terms of the the old classics and the modern classics that show up.

 

the uk daily chart should look interesting tmo, lol. they'll probably have a few xmas songs lingering around as well as a possible TBT effect to compound it.

The UK's Spotify chart has multiple classics in the top 200 every day, so the New Year's Eve boost for those kind of songs will be big. Queen - Don't Stop Me Now will do even better than last year obviously.

Basically Mariah Carey gained 150 million streams from that song in this Christmas season. It was at 350 million streams at thanksgivings

no; the real-time AM chart does not combine explicit and clean versions. the daily top 100 that AM publishes does, however, which is why 21 savage continued to be #1. "wow" did not take over that chart until the latest update.
