Sweety, I am well-aware that the blood pressure of some of you rises to new heights whenever Katy Perry is mentioned. It's understandable, but you have no clue who the majority of her stans are. And you should just leave it at that before flamebaiting and making assumptions.

Can we move on now?

when i went to her concert it was a bunch of screaming 13 year old girls and alot of gay guys/middle aged moms :rip:

katy knows her demographic!

nice. is she expected to stay top 10 this week?

Yeah it should.

But just checked Youtube Insights and it got 10.4 million globally with 1.7 million from the US. So 16%. That's okay and more like something that I would have expected form a global artist like Katy. Makes more sense than 20%.

Has 3.1 million now in total for the first 5 days of the tracking week. And in my prediction I had it at 5 million for the week. Seems pretty spot on. First day of a new video is always by far the biggest.

Yes. I think probably 8-9. Simm has her projected a bit higher though.

They really are. I would want Future to cancel Draco and push Mask Off, but now he's probably going to push the Rih or Weeknd collab from HNDRXX, and FUTURE won't really have any proper singles.

I'm afraid so. Anyway, judging by the features it seems like HNDXX is more pop so there's a chance that two singles -one from each album- can coexist.

Maybe. But it's difficult to see him getting significant pop support, so he could end up splitting AI between rhythmic and urban. Not the best idea :chick3:

Releasing two albums back-to-back wasn't the best idea either. :skull: He probably doesn't even care.

I think Katy did get hit by her political activity. Rural white women voted from trump instead of Clinton, and white women is Katy's bigger demographic.

We we will see if she can recover or find new demos.

It's a risk artists take when putting themselves out on a limb like that, although Perry also wore Obama dresses in 2012. In 2008, Oprah Winfrey lost a lot of her "soccer mom" audience when she endorsed Obama over Hillary for the Democratic Nomination. As for Jay-Z, Bruce Springsteen, and Bon Jovi put out music so rarely it's hard to tell whether their support of Hillary have or will hurt them.
