Actually they were released right together. I remember Cruise overtook WANEGBT on BB's newly-implemented Country Genre Chart right after Swift set the record for women (9 weeks, though obviously with the large majority of help from mainstream radio, as what happened to Cruise later on too). Cruise had been on the chart longer than Swift though.

 

Okay, Swift's song came out 13 August 2012. FGL's Cruise was released on 06 August 2012. So both were released at virtually the same time.

It's on the New Music Friday (1.8M followers) and Mood Booster (1.7M) playlists. I'd say it has a decent amount of exposure– not a ton, though.

I would think his Spotify and Downloads performance should secure a Top 10 position down the road, especially with a video release and the album debut boost, as long as the streaming and sales don't die off before Body peaks in airplay. That happened to Keith Urban, but Urban wasn't nearly as high on Spotify. I will note, that unless I missed something, Hunt isn't in the Pandora Top 100.
