New Rules is the most mainstream song out of all her singles + the video obvs helped a lot. The other singles are slightly better than NR but I couldn't see them smashing.

Never understood why the anthemic "Hotter Than Hell" never exploded in the U.S., but I guess the sound is too European (and too good) for the States.

YES, Hotter Than Hell is my favorite Dua song , I wanted that to be her breakout song in the US

Her past 2 leads spend 3 and 4 weeks at #1 on the Hot 100 and this one is obviously much more divisive, but should still get there too. Yeah it won't have much longevity but basically everyone said that from the start
