i've never seen a fanbase so excited for proof their fave is a legacy act. :rip:

if you're going to brag about spotify stats, at least ensure said stats aren't from 10-year-old songs being streamed. like, i don't think anyone disagrees katy has a good catalog? her problem has always been getting people to care about her now in 2025.

are kats actually convinced this tour is doing well because people around the area are buying last-minute $20 tickets? :rip:

to be fair, though, gaga repeaked because of NEW music, not because of her catalog. there's a big difference between being a relevant current act and a legacy act.

You trying to convince yourself the tour is not doing well is so try hard. Give it up hater.

It's a valid metric though. More monthly listeners means more unique listeners.

It's completely invalid. Monthly listeners just means people that listened to you in a given month. It doesn't matter if it was a random song in a Playlist or if they decided to listen to a whole album.

Streaming numbers is the only valid metric.

While im happy for Katy for the resurgeance of genuine interest for her music (not her drama), at same time i also cannot at some of you that denied Gaga's peak in ML few weeks ago.

Au contraire, my little lanalligator

kworb has 1432 at 225,989,901 streams, and according to the wayback machine, this time last month it was at 214,291,936 streams

225,989,901 - 214,291,936 = 11.697.965 streams for 1432 in the past month

Katy Perry has 65,733,805 monthly listeners

there's a lot to take away from that :suburban:

Don't bring facts and figures into places they're not wanted! I come here to escape that kind of thing.

literally she sold most of the tickets for the Minneapolis show because of that. Tickets were almost free and she still didn't sell all of them :deadbanana2:

Not is not how monthly listener's work. Monthly listeners are unique users i.e individuals (1 monthly listener) who stream your music at least once in a 28-day window. This means, the metric doesn't increase not matter how often you play the music. No matter the source, they still listened to the music. So, it is valid.

That's exactly what I said. No matter if you listen to it once or multiple times, it's only one count. Streaming numbers is the only thing that matters.

"Repeak"? I guess being among the Top 10 females is a victory in itself, but the fact that her career high is only one spot higher now despite her massive tour is just :skull:

Massive tour? But their haters said their tour was a total flop. Should they decide if it's a flop or massive?
