Phaunzie Posted Thursday at 06:52 PM Posted Thursday at 06:52 PM I love this for Katy. Her other fanbase is bothered for no reason. 3

Sugar-Rush Posted Thursday at 07:17 PM Posted Thursday at 07:17 PM "Repeak"? I guess being among the Top 10 females is a victory in itself, but the fact that her career high is only one spot higher now despite her massive tour is just
Nando_05 Posted Thursday at 07:23 PM Posted Thursday at 07:23 PM The fact i saw some of you saying This is an irrelevant metric when Gaga was doing almost the double of monthy listeners. Anyways, Katy has a legendary catalogue. Her first three albums are pop perfection so Im not surprised. Im more surprised about LFN being her most popular song 1

It's a new peak for her, someone who y'all been calling a fad since 2017 - she didn't have a true smash era since the streaming era took off - so yes, it makes sense. Only one spot higher?... Than the it girl of 2024 who just had a streak of 3 global smash hits and also just had a global tour with multiple viral moments, especially Juno trending night after night? Now Katy's tour is massive? Didn't y'all run your mouth with DailyMail articles about how the tour is a flop? Y'all didn't have threads prepared for US cancellations and vids with empty arena or **** like this? Lemme have a cute giggle cuz y'all switched the narrative FAST! 3 2

If you look at total streams from 5/14 via Kworb Katy 12,340,620 Sabrina 17,636,371 Adding Beyonce: Beyonce 14,728,720 Edited Thursday at 08:00 PM by hawx23
stevyy Posted Thursday at 08:00 PM Posted Thursday at 08:00 PM ML might be irrelevant (which I disagree on btw), but then again Katy still gets 12m+ daily streams. 1

Of course Sabrina has more, she has more recurrent hits, but the amount of people she's been reaching is shrinking despite a successful album (for 2024). I actually made a thread on how her team completely destroyed the era this year though! Not surprised she fell below Katy if we're being honest...

Oh that's an interesting take..yeah it's weird after PPP I haven't really heard about Sabrina much
OrgVisual Posted Thursday at 08:04 PM Posted Thursday at 08:04 PM People hang up on the "monthly listeners" just because the mods merged the threads when there are enough receipts in this thread that her entire discography is getting a resurgence, with multiple hits having its best streams ever - Last Friday Night / TOTGA / Harleys / Thinking Of You / Roar etc. She's having 12 songs with over 500k daily streams - more than a number of other pop girls. And if this trend continues, she will soon have multiple songs having over 1M daily streams 2

WOW WOW WOW she's officially bigger than Taylor Swift... She should def leave earth and tour another galaxy next!!! She's a success!!!!!!!!! 1

Talking about shifting the goal posts to fit their narratives It's a REPEAK for Katy and all the receipts supported that. It doesn't matter if she's below A or B or C; it's still a repeak and what this thread is about 2

OreoCookie Posted Thursday at 09:49 PM Posted Thursday at 09:49 PM Monthly listeners don't really mean anything. It's no big deal.
Yes, AND Posted Thursday at 09:55 PM Posted Thursday at 09:55 PM 4 minutes ago, OreoCookie said: Monthly listeners don't really mean anything. It's no big deal. Incorrect: On Spotify, "monthly listeners" refers to the total number of unique users who have listened to an artist's music at least once within a 28-day period. This metric provides a gauge of an artist's reach and engagement. Even if a listener streams the same song multiple times within the month, they are still counted as a single monthly listener.
Sannie Posted Thursday at 09:55 PM Posted Thursday at 09:55 PM (edited) i've never seen a fanbase so excited for proof their fave is a legacy act. if you're going to brag about spotify stats, at least ensure said stats aren't from 10-year-old songs being streamed. like, i don't think anyone disagrees katy has a good catalog? her problem has always been getting people to care about her now in 2025. 11 minutes ago, Yes, AND said: The way this tour went from having to be cancelled, to empty arenas, to now being massive is sending me. you cant make this ish up !!! are kats actually convinced this tour is doing well because people around the area are buying last-minute $20 tickets? 2 hours ago, Nando_05 said: The fact i saw some of you saying This is an irrelevant metric when Gaga was doing almost the double of monthy listeners.
