I'm sure Katy knows this era didn't work out. Hopefully she learns from her own failures and mistakes to become better. But one thing she should absolutely never do is to live for external validation from the internet. The internet loves you one day and hates you the next lol. It's never worth it.

Exactly. The same people come running every time to demand she "take accountability". For what? The goalposts keep moving and are applied inconsistently to her and her peers. She went from a mighty confidence trying to make "KPSEX 🤪" a thing ("I would like to see you try and call me a flop one more time"), to defend Woman's World behind faux feminism and claims of "satire"- whatever that was 🤪. Then in the Call Her Daddy podcast she avoided the elephant in the room to shoehorn a damage control narrative about motherhood- in stark contrast to the way she teased KPSEX and catered to a gay audience. Yet zero accountability.

 

We're now in the stage of PR conveniently hiding behind the Space debacle to pay publications that push a victim narrative, where her fans are now perpetrating it along with Katy herself where she must be feeling like she's validated now in her own little bubble (or Planet Unbothered). And still, zero accountability.

 

Please stop, Katy Perry.

Literally this. Yes, some it has gotten kinda out of hand, but Kats were profusely calling it a hate train when the backlash first started- when it was all about her working with Luke. It's clearly just their way of shielding Katy from any criticism by trying to frame it as being unfair or ridiculous... even though she caused all of this herself. They simply can't handle the fact that the era turned into an absolute disaster and are scrambling for damage control.

The gaslighting from the kats in here when the very reason this ''hate train'' kept going and eventually went off the rails with nasty remarks is precisely because she didn't address any of the genuine criticism head on back when she and her team had the chance to. It's so easy to play the victim card now and hide behind misogyny claims to avoid any kind of actual accountability. 

 

This is why I don't feel bad about her one bit and think every hate she gets is justified; she brought it upon herself. This whole bravado from her now doesn't even make much sense under minimal scrutiny. Oh so the hate doesn't bother her? So why are the kats crying in here and in every other thread whenever Katy gets dragged? Whether the hate goes on or not it doesn't matter then right? So I say let's hate away! Thank you, Katy.

For platforming a rapist. That's what people want her to take accountability for. The goalpost hasn't moved once. Nobody is asking for her to apologize for her cringy performances or whatever y'all want to make it seem like.

 

And let's not act like Kim Petras, Nicki, etc. haven't all been extensively dragged for working with Dr. Luke.
