Expected bomb. Nothing after Flowers catched on. Stan world just really likes her so the flopping was ignored? But it still 100% happened.


She has the album release and GP may like it, i liked End of the World!!! :celestial4:
Based on the MV i don't think i'll like the visuals but i think i'll love the sound :katie2: loved PH and i see this album being my #2 MC album.

i thought Miley's Flowers success & ESV outdoing RO was a response in itself to Little Lipsters who dragged Milene through the mud many times before, including a few geniuses here. guess a few of the remaining had to get out of hiding for this update :coffee:

You guys just put too much faith in Miley's name alone. Flowers was heavily dependent on Liam rumors + momentum with that Shakira song + Bruno Mars song correlation. It's not like she has the star power to replicate that

Oh this is insanity :rip: two years ago we were gagging over one of the biggest songs ever and now we're here

 

And this song is amazing too. Flowers reaching so many people was honestly so wild because how did they all disappear

Yes but her previous singles had none of that like Midnight Sky or even Nothing Breaks Like a Heart that has a billion streams on Spotify. Not to mention Angels Like You a non single having a billion streams. Her music has always been stable even without high debuts so this is just crazy

Except this time last year everybody was praising her for her Grammys performance. She's has not and will never be irrelevant. Girlie has been flopping left and right throughout her career from dead petz to younger now to she is coming and yet she rebounded like no other

None of her lead singles in the past bombed this hard. Malibu and Midnight Sky were all hits with great longevity and decent debuts.

At least she's not flopping with a backlash so there is still hope! She can try with single 2, single 3 etc. you know, just throw them against wall and see what sticks.:suburban:

Craziest part of all of this is her falling OUT of the UK Spotify chart like that has always been one of her biggest markets. They made her best song ever aka Midnight Sky a top 5 hit and Flowers one of the longest running #1s in the chart's history. Besides that Nothing Breaks Like a Heart and Prisoner were also hits there so this is just insane to me

The song is unlistenable & her worst lead single. I listened to it twice and can't remember the melody or any lyrics
