This debut is solid considering the confusing rollout and terrible social media push this era. Much better than the title track's debut numbers.

Low numbers overall... the surprise release strategy may not work for her after all. I thought she would benefit from it, to be honest. Anyway, the song is good and sounds like a spring/summer hit. It still got time to rebound.

 

And some people say TTH has no power anymore lol.

this is actually not that good if it's unfiltered that means the debut on spotify charts will be lower  

 

but i think the song will be a hit at the end of the day. It just needs time.

I think Columbia'll do a slower campaign this time around. Slowly let the song simmer into becoming a hit over the course of the next 1,5 months until album release.

The whole strategy gives surprise release even if this single in particular wasn't. We went from thinking she wouldn't release a song before the album to dropping three in a week. It is true that End of the World was not a surprise release per se, but the overall strategy (or half of it) was. That's why I thought it would help...
