AshleyLovescats887 Posted Thursday at 06:53 AM Posted Thursday at 06:53 AM RCA is absolutely trash. Tate, Jade and a few other artists literally had their full albums leaked. Hollywood Records is absolute ass as an artist literally has to be Disney friendly. Big Machine is horrid. 1
allforyou Posted Thursday at 07:21 AM Posted Thursday at 07:21 AM Definitely Hollywood Records, they pretty much only promoted their artists on Disney, sometimes they didn't even bother to send singles to US radio 3

RCA is a mess, literally this year week by week one of their artists album got leaked. started with tate, then lisa and jade I remember Rachel Platten saying Columbia Records kicked her out because she got pregnant 1 1
makeme Posted Thursday at 10:23 AM Posted Thursday at 10:23 AM Imagine how much bigger SZA and Doja could be if they were on Republic instead of RCA. OT: RCA 1
Vixen Eyes Posted Thursday at 10:33 AM Posted Thursday at 10:33 AM Id say in order 1. Sony 2. RCA (though I would think it's early days were fine) 3. Blackground 4. Atlantic
Dolce Vita Posted Thursday at 12:14 PM Posted Thursday at 12:14 PM epic records, fifth harmony stans will know the trauma
MusicLoverDude Posted Thursday at 02:10 PM Posted Thursday at 02:10 PM 1. Hollywood Records - there's a reason Sabrina struggled to breakout for YEARS. There's a reason Hilary Duff didn't have as big of a music career as she could have had during her peak hype. There's a reason Miley and Selena's biggest hits came AFTER they left Hollywood (aside from Party In the USA and The Climb). There's a reason Dove Cameron didn't get a hit until 2022. There's a reason a lot of their artists not related to Disney don't blow up. Literally, just don't sign there. 2. Epic Records - The way they've handled eras over the last 15 years is inconsistent and embarrassing. Avril Lavigne had one of her eras botched and screwed over because of them and that was AFTER she already had RCA **** her over. Cher Lloyd lost a lot of momentum in the US because they delayed her second album. Same with Karmin and Zara Larsson. Bonnie McKee could have actually had a moment in 2013 if they just let her release her album. Madison Beer's Make You Mine last year could have been as big as Greedy and Espresso if they had released it to radio and promoted it more on streaming. Tyla is struggling to take off. They got lucky with Travis Scott but he's essentially poison at this point after Astrogate (his singles chart but then fall off quick). I could go on and on. 3. RCA - Clive Davis was just pure evil. The way he treated Kelly and Avril was disgusting. Tinashe's career would have been bigger had it not been for their screwups.
benja sebert Posted Thursday at 11:56 PM Author Posted Thursday at 11:56 PM I agree with you guys. Honestly, RCA is the worst ever record label. Britney hadn't much big success as she did on Jive because of the label, but more than that, her family sabotaged her two last eras.

I still don't know what she is still doing in a shitty label like RCA.
