album Ariana Grande - 'eternal sunshine deluxe: brighter days ahead'

I don't usually spread negativity, but Ariana is my 2nd favorite artist of all time. 
 

Nothing about this era managed to connect with me outside of a handful of songs (dwbua, supernatural, tbim, dandelion), but that's just not enough for me to stay attached to the era.

 

I fully get that people really like this album and this era, but it feels like a nothing burger to me. Nothing is really awful, nothing is exciting me though. 
 

Here for all and any success she gets though! Hopefully next era I'll be able to connect a little more. I was relistening to positions/sweetener and those albums really are two of my favorites by her, so ES just feels a little bit of a letdown.

Nope. I still can't quite get if if's the progression of the vocals (what makes you think you're even invited… you think you've read the book I'm still writing) alone or the combination of the piano melody. I just KNOW there's a song out there that sounds exactly like this specific part.

MTE, the OG album clears imo, nothing on the deluxe has touched ES, WCBF, or TBIM for me  the new ones are just kinda there, while the former tracks were some of my favorite ever by her. Hoping they are growers, warm is definitely my favorite and I hope it smashes. The film however is incredible and I appreciate how much work went into it, especially since its just a gift for the fans

I immediately thought of Camila when I heard this song. Ariana's voice sounds so similar to her in some parts.
