It was top 10 with just 15 weeks in the billboard calendar year(Nov 2015-Nov 2016). With the longevity it's having, it will end up in the top 15 for 2017.

It doesn't feel it though? PRA was a cultural phenomenon and UF felt inescapable for months. Maybe its because I'm in the UK and Closer wasn't as big here.

Closer definitely feels as big as Party Rock Anthem to me, and the stats back that up. If not for the 25/52 recurrent rule, Closer would probably end up with a similar Hot 100 run to PRA, and it should be able to beat PRA's 28 weeks in the Top 10.
