jim19911126 Posted Monday at 07:51 AM Posted Monday at 07:51 AM I still remember the desperation for #1 with ME! and You Need To Calm Down, now it's a de javu. I love Lover so much it truly deserved better on chart runs. Congrats to BB, our fellow Little Monster to defeat this crazy scam system, it's really time to stop this trick.

She didn't do anything for YNTCD, it was ME! that got the physicals.

Girl, she literally brought her archenemy (by then) Katy Perry into that video, created a whole conversation about it. Also Fab 5 was at their peak, that song was also the first Taylor LGBTQ+ song, she marketed heavily with it. Let's not pretend that she didn't try hard on that one, that song was a bop tho. katara Posted Monday at 09:23 AM Posted Monday at 09:23 AM This is just the first taste of stomping Benito is giving to Taylor. He is gonna dominate her all year. King. 1

No merch bundles counted for a few years until a few months ago when minimal merch bundles were allowed to be counted again. The last album to truly benefit from merch was probably Chromatica. Nice try, but Smile had merch bundles, it would've sold less than 50k otherwise.
Taylor fanboy Posted Monday at 10:02 AM Posted Monday at 10:02 AM AAAHH Oh Loser you will always be at the very BOTTOM of Taylor's discography. 1

Riverbank Posted Monday at 12:37 PM Posted Monday at 12:37 PM Oh wow. It's kinda funny looking back at everyone who deemed him over back when the first day numbers came out. The album is looking like it's growing some serious legs so good for him The "it's just an EP from 2019 get over yourself!11!!1!" argument doesn't even hold much weight when she ran to put up all those digital variants on her store the second the first predictions came out. Just take the L
Letters From Adi Posted Monday at 01:00 PM Posted Monday at 01:00 PM It's a live album, so her studio albums #1 streak is still maintained

There is no way to control that. If someone purchases a vinyl it will always count as a purchase. Sales inherently count purchases, there is no way to control whether or not someone actually listens to what they purchase, and there never has been.

Like it's such a blatant and ridiculous tactic infamous within stan culture, I'd think you as an atrl member would recall? Unless you are purposely playing ignorant and pretending Chromatica was as blatant with attempts to benefit off bundle. Here is the New York Times arrival all about folklores calculated release to correspond with bundles counting if you don't want to believe me. " Taylor Swift, who holds the No. 1 album for a second time with "Folklore," may be one of the last stars to benefit from Billboard's so-called bundling rule, which lets artists sell albums with merchandise or concert tickets. Long criticized for distorting the charts, that guideline is set to be curtailed in October. But Swift is also the last to gain an advantage from a lesser-known chart rule, one that is a bit of a brain-twister: the bundling of a physical album with a digital one." I guess you are forgetting that Taylors first week sales have increased since bundles stopped counting. Lets see if the same applies to Gaga. And yes, Chromatica WAS blatant. There was so many bundles and digital copies being shipped with physicals, not to mention the jockstraps.

They shipped a couple days earlier than the "ships on or before" date. Why do y'all just make things up out of literally nowhere to pretend she's doing something malicious? It is here.
Peroxide Posted yesterday at 12:11 AM Posted yesterday at 12:11 AM Congrats to Bad Bunny I will say… Taylor pulling numbers like this for a 2019 release is ridiculous.
