It's impressive because this is not week 1. This is week 2. Second it is not embarrassing at all. A #1 is a #1.

Not impressive at all. And for the record, I am not a swiftie and do not cling to chart data at all. I was just stating the fact that he only beat a 6 year old live album by 1k AND he only did that cuz taylor's team didn't produce enough copies, had they made more, he would have lost the top spot. It's not the kii yall think it is against taylor. That's all i'm saying.

No, she didn't. The streak, as tracked by Billboard, is specifically for consecutive studio albums - otherwise, entries like Folklore LPSS, which charted separately at #3 when released on vinyl in 2023, would have ended it. Or this album itself, which already charted at #58 that same year. It's only inclusive of new studio releases and the rerecordings.

His sales are actually extremely impressive, it's the second week and outdid the first, and that's after the initial singles for the album flopped. It's going to be bigger than his last era.

This is the super interesting and impressive part to me. His prerelease singles made it look like he was poised for an underperforming era, and instead he's smashing.

Its a Spanish language album on its second week. I don't care your excuses, it's impressive that he still beat a limited edition live set from arguably the world's biggest artist. Doesn't matter when it's from.
