People keep acting like Beyonce could get her DWAS if she collaborated with a big artist. She did with Ed back then and she tanked the song :rip:The power of Beyonce.

Why did she not credit Big Freedia tho? Same with drake. Freedia would've already had multiple #1 hits.

Most of these aren't exactly hits. They could have stopped at 10.

Perfect with Beyonce was never anyones lead with a whole entire video.

It was a cute remix that slipped from #1 the second Beyonce went uncredited.

And where is Ed Sheeran now? Oh. Gtfoh.

Tired of yall wanting Bey grouped with fads and desperate acts who've been dependent on boosts from everyone else for the last decade. And Bey proved that her Billboard chart points don't necessarily align with her overall sales. She stopped depending on radio nearly 15 years ago.

Jay-Zs, Sean Pauls, and Slim Thugs contributions to the songs usually are a Max of 20-25 seconds whereas Ariana, Bradley and Bruno made up 50% for the song lol. Nice try Liddo.

Changes nothing: Gaga hasn't had a solo hit in a decade while Bey managed to get 3 SOLO hits this decade already.

Keep coping :suburban:

Don't act like this smash never happened.

If Beyonce and Bruno release a collab tomorrow it will smash right out the gate, so lets not.

How many solo #1s, what counts as a hit, stream numbers, the amount of seconds the feature is in, the year they debuted, the fanbase that started, geez how miserable these discussions are...

Even the artist has to remind some of y'all to take it down a notch

This feels like a set-up...

There is nothing wrong with having hit collaborations. It being a collaboration doesn't take away the success of a song. However, when your only recent hits are collaborations, that's when it becomes very telling. Clearly not the case with Bey who had a transatlantic number-one just this last year. I don't think it's the case with Taylor either; she can still have a solo hit if she wants to, she just focused way more on selling the album every week instead. Be serious.

gaga vs bey is so tired :rip:

both are absolute legends and no matter how many collabs they have, they will always be the main and huge reason those songs became smashes and #1s. give it up :rip:

Can't people really tell the difference between having a featured rapper with 2 or 3 irrelevant raps vs jumping on a bigger and hotter popstar to score a hit? :suburban:

Like if you remove Sean Paul, Jay-Z and Slim Thug verses, the song would rarely change and still gonna smash. But you can't remove Bruno's 2 minute solo out of DWAS :ryan3:

This is the things with OGH, they will quite literally call Gaga "Fad" while she has the biggest song of the year/decade at #1 and is top 10 most listened to artists on spotify for almost a year now etc.

Imagine what they would be saying if she was at #80 on daily spotify artists. It just goes to show how pointless it is to even create topics like this etc. lmfao Gaga can get a solo flowers sized smasha next and they would be onto the next thing. If Gaga used Superbowl to launch her era like bey, they would be saying "thank u superbowl" all year long for her solo #1. I can go on and on.

I'd say 1 hit-single and two ok-ish singles. Let's be real here, no one that actually follows charts would claim Break my Soul is a hit right? We might give you Texas as a semi-hit too, but that song not being able to pass 600m streams after a year is UGLY. Even Fortnight that y'all love to claim is a flop has outstreamed it ages ago. Hell, even Broken Heart is on track to outstreams Texas in a month.

And let's not forget the song was already a hit by the time she JUMPED on the remix.

Now c'mon this is beyond obtuse; since when was it common practice to give a feature credit for a sample?

It's not as if Gaga credited Replay (feat. Diana Ross) or Born This Way (feat. Madonna).

Sheeran noted that the song, which was released Dec. 1, has actually been in the works since May.

"Obviously she had twins [in June], and we finished [the song] in September, so I've been holding onto it since then," Sheeran said of the "Perfect Duet," which was released on Dec. 1.

Perfect (solo) was released as a single in September. Y'll are just saying anything at this point
