Yeah, but the point is that it was unnecessary of her to call out the dem's shortcomings in such a contentious election year, when so many people were already apathetic about voting in the first place. It's obvious to anyone with half a brain that the dems are far from a perfect political party. But when you contrast the dem's proposed policies against those of the republicans, they look like freaking saints. Like, did Chappell seriously think the Republicans were gonna be the more-likely party to free Palestine, reinstate abortion laws, and save trans lives? Gimme a break! It was foolish for a person like her (with her platform) to use her power and influence to highlight the dem's shortcomings rather than to motivate people to vote for Kamala, who was realistically the only candidate who had a chance at beating Trump (miss me with that Jill Stein shít. A vote for Stein would have been a vote for Trump). In Chappell's TikTok rants, she focused more on what she disliked about Kamala, rather than the fact that another Trump presidency could spell the end of western democracy as we know it. I'm sure that her rants did more harm than good, and that the only thing they really served to do was sway would-be democratic voters to avoid participating in the election altogether. Her behaviour in her TikTok rants seemed to suggest she believed Kamala and Trump were equally as bad as each other, which leads me to believe she lacks a strong moral compass, and is therefore sympathetic to the Republican cause. I also think that after her fans turned on her last summer, something switched in her brain, activating her inner Karen. It wouldn't shock me at all if she is seen wearing a MAGA hat sometime within the next 6 months, most likely in small-town Missouri, where she feels right at home. 3
