Gaga has countless solo hits if you want to go there. Just because they aren't Hot 100 #1s doesn't mean they're not hits. There are other countries in the world that exist and some of her biggest hits like Bad Romance went #1 all over the world but not in the US on the Hot 100.

It was revealed in court when some khia sued Gaga for Judas. Gaga gave JLo Hypnotico in exchange for a production credit on Invading My Mind.

 

If anything this speaks more on RedOne's lazy production. JLo then later said that RedOne told her he worked on these tracks with Gaga before passing them to her. So even if the production credit wasn't earned, they didn't copy Invading My Mind

you know I've ALWAYS had this theory that originally Akon had a bigger part in The Sweet Escape too  and that at the last moment it was taken out or something… think about it structurally (and i just took my sleep meds so bear with me honeyturkeys): there's no real bridge to this song. it goes back to the—granted, excellent—"sour milk" prechorus to ring in the final chorus. imagine if there was like a cute duetted bridge between Gwen and Akon. that'd make so much sense even though it'd make the song significantly longer. idk, I remember reading reviews of people criticizing how few lines Akon ended up having in the song and that it felt like a waste of a feature, so it only makes sense to me that he originally might've had something else there too
