Pali High is gone? One of my closest friends lives just a few blocks from there. This is crazy. Hope your family's doing ok 9 hours ago, Mellark said: My power is out and it's not coming back until 8pm and I have a charging block of 54%. Work told us to work remotely and I was supposed to be back today so I don't know. I live outside Seattle now and we had a bomb cyclone right before Thanksgiving. Lost power for 6 days, no hot water, no service, couldn't cook, lost all my food, etc. so I get the feeling. I had to skip work for two days because I live on a remote street where multiple trees fell all over power lines and I didn't have any service to call them. Crazy they even expected people to show up honestly. You have to do what's safest for you. LA fires have a tendency to just keep going sadly

AvadaKedavra Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago (edited) My heart breaks for all the people losing their homes as someone who's not from USA but has deep love for everything californian-la. One of the most beautiful lands on earth Losin a home can be something really traumatic-life changin The people dying. The pets. The Wild animals Whole life projects-life investments are gone there.Memories and Future Stability. The fires look too big. Overwhelming big from the planes pics they postd on X i visit the daily discussion los Angeles thread in the reddit sub and i remember how before xmas they were talkin of how windy was everything and they were tired of it Hope these fires are gone soon. Rain. Rain come to LA. I dont know if this was mismanagement from the LA current and past mayors administration but if it was..... they should be held accountable In my home city here in southamerica the mayors stole so much money cause theyre a corrupt as **** and didnt fix the fire hydrants and one day a whole block of my city burned down cause there was not water to battle it...It was all preventable.....not assesin risk with ai tools-computers simulations..and more Edited 16 hours ago by AvadaKedavra 3

Blade Runner Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago This is getting crazy. Can't believe the biggest superpower on Earth goes through stuff like this in such a badly managed way. Insane.
Jotham Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago So many of my friends in LA now are reporting their homes and important items likely being burned, and I'm seeing news reports of families desperately evacuating their homes before they get destroyed. It's getting more and more distressing, and I don't know how they're going to be able to rebuild their lives after this.

bad guy Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Fires in West Hollywood and now into the canyons and the Valley. Places I grew up with, lived at, and memories all burned down. Friend's houses completely gone. This is hitting me so hard. This needs to start a serious discussion on the mismanagement of LA, so much of this could have been avoided. Truly devastated 2
