It's not like Gaga has anything left to prove. But, with DWAS hitting #1, this just solidifies her legacy and hit making power more!

There's nothing weirdly specific about tracking who has had multiple number 1s over multiple decades. That would be one of the most logical ways to see someone's consistent popularity over time :skull:

Not really. It is very flawed in Gagas case seeing as she went many years without a number one or even a notable hit before Shallow

That's because she only released one album between her last notable hit (Applause—14 weeks Top 10) and Shallow. Now, if we count Million Reasons, 870M on Spotify, peaked at #4, 3x-platinum, this argument is the one that's flawed.

Now she needs to release Girlfriend and replace herself at #1 oh Gagallah

All three are certified pop royalty and absolute LEGENDS. I'm a fan of all three and Gaga joining Janet and MJ just with this distinction just reinforces how talented, creative, and versatile these artists are :clap3:

To be honest I Was more shocked to learn she only had 3 number ones before she started with the collab efforts.  I thought she had far more.

Certified Chanteuse of Hitmaking Longevity Lady Gaga having a #1 hit going into the 17th year of her career.

This won't be her last smash either.

Liddos 2 years ago: Janet is not a legend and nobody remembers Michael's sister.

Today: OMG she matched a record only legends made :clap3:

This is kinda true. She proved again and again to surprise us. I mean OGHs have been saying she couldnt get another #1 even before Shallow hit #1. Then she did it again with RoM and now Dwas. :deadbanana4:
