music news MARINA to make her comeback as an independent artist.

MARINA is set to kick off the era of her 6th album very soon. She has archived all of her Instagram posts except for three that are about her sixth album, and she is featured on the cover of Plastik Magazine.

 

A couple of months ago, she announced that she would be releasing her album in early 2025. She is also scheduled to perform at Coachella 2025.

Froot was not a good album either. Only title song.

So excited! The snippets she's been posting all sound amazing. I think the single is coming out end of Jan, she mentioned something about Aquarius season a bit ago.

It's also Froot's 10th anniversary in March. I hope we will get a special version like we did with TFJ and Electra Heart.

I feel like this year she's gonna have a cute breakthrough in the same vein as what Mitski achieved in 2023. 

I have so much faith in her new album, considering I think ADIAML was a step in the right direction and there is a slight chance of her topping her best album, Froot.

i feel like she's about to have her second wave…for a while it felt like she was left behind in the tumblr era and the music she was making (whilst good) wasn't connecting with the people it used to connect with
