AshleyLovescats887 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 (edited) Why make a 'Ray Of Light' if 'Ray Of Light' is already out and has been out for decades now? Taylor has been making classics, each with different sounds that already influenced so many rising stars and even artists from her own generation. I can definitely see her expanding her horizons even further with TS12 and her next projects. Will they be like 'Ray Of Light' ? Absolutely not. Her name is not Madonna and she never was Madonna. However the projects she's gonna drop will still be as iconic as 'Ray Of Light'ย Edited January 7 by AshleyLovescats887 1
ArtDeco Posted January 8 Posted January 8 (edited) I don't think Taylor could pull it off, she's very commercialised in a sense and rarely breaks out of the creative barrier that she's built for herself as she thrives off her social circumstances. I mean I'd be utterly shocked if she started working with acclaimed underground creatives to develop her image, but it would be a very VERY long shot if itย were to happen. I think Reputation was the closest thing we'll ever get of her breaking out of her norm. ย ย ย ย Edited January 8 by ArtDeco 2
CottageHore Posted January 8 Posted January 8 She does not have the range or the personality to deliver a Ray of Light plz seek help immediatelyย
silli Posted January 8 Posted January 8 No, Taylor would never release something as risky as Madonna did in 98
longjohn9898 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Taylor lacks the creativity, risk-taking, and talent needed to make a Ray of Light which is already an overrated album but still one she can't make.ย

I don't think she will have a completely out of the left field album, because there will be some transitional songs in her previous album and the Taylor Swift DNA will always present, and like everyone already said, she cares deeply about commercial success. right now, it seems like she may venture into rock territory in the future, it seems like a natural progression. where she will go from there idk, but I don't think an album like Ray of Light is totally out of the question if her musical journey takes her to that genre.

I respect your comments but there really wasn't anything ground breaking about both eras, don't get me wrong they were cute but she was not serving, serving yannoe? ย ย
