SlayPerry Posted Wednesday at 10:23 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:23 PM (edited) Singer-songwriter Muni Long isn't holding back! In a jaw-dropping video posted online, the songwriter revealed that her vocals were used without her consent—and, to make matters worse, she hasn't seen a single cent from the track. But that's not all. Muni also dropped another bombshell, claiming that Kesha's mother, Pebe Sebert, allegedly demanded a 2% cut of the song's publishing despite not contributing to its creation. gettsleazy Posted Wednesday at 10:31 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:31 PM Dr Luke's fault / lame of Muni to act like Kesha had any control of this situation when she's been exploited by the same system Muni is trying to expose 3 5 5

imason Posted Wednesday at 10:37 PM Posted Wednesday at 10:37 PM I guess Atlantic somehow gave it to RCA. Neither Pitbull or Kesha were signed to Atlantic. Also during that time Kesha didn't have a lot of control with her having Luke management. I don't think Muni should be taking most of it out on Kesha, unless there's something she didn't say about her that occurred maybe words between the two or something. Idk it just all shows how dirty the industry really works. 2 1

Hobbes Posted Wednesday at 11:03 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:03 PM (edited) I've got the multitrack and she (Muni) is barely in the track. There are four tracks of her singing "ooh" and "woah" buried underneath Kesha's takes, gang vocals, and Melodyned harmonies. This is such a non-story. Edited Wednesday at 11:06 PM by Hobbes 3 1

Inverted Posted Wednesday at 11:15 PM Posted Wednesday at 11:15 PM Stupid thread title and comparison. The background vocals on all Jennifer Lopez songs are properly credited and all backup vocalists know what they're contributing to and compensated for it. In this case, Muni Long is saying she was not credited or compensated. 1
