This is how you do Japanese release.

The slayage… Everything was on point except for Hitomi & Nako voice (why they sound like kindergarten children :rip:). Instead of Gaeun & Chowon, maybe they should rig out these 2.

"Rather than the taste of iron, it's a song that reminds us of the sun, sunlight, the feeling of melted iron, a furnace, a blacksmith. We asked the company to go a little overboard, so we think you might be surprised."

"Hung Up" did not go #1 in 41 countries. That lie is literally turning 20 years old this year :lmao: It went #1 on iTunes in 41 countries, which was a record at that time. There weren't 41 charts to go #1 on back then.

Also, there's no possible way APT could hit #1 in 41 countries if it missed Japan, the U.K., the U.S., France, Italy, Russia, Spain and Brazil. Can you post the countries? I want to believe it, but that seems way too good to be real.

The Japan Hot 100 isn't the same as going #1 in Japan. You have to be #1 on the official chart to be #1 in the country. That chart account was counting component charts and adding them as if they were all individual countries :skull:

Use these two links to track APT's success:

https://talkofthecharts.org
Tracks the Hot 100 Decade End and Global 200 Decade End. Currently #64 on the global decade end, which is huge.

We're about a quarter of the way through 2025 and "APT" is #11 on the year end charts. It will easily surpass that song by that BTS member next week and become the biggest K-pop solo hit since Gangnam Style by the chart's next update!

They confirmed summer, which means early May for them, usually!

Judging by this latest post about coming back and meeting the fans a lot, we're going to get two comebacks again this year and some Japanese releases. They have an event in May which means we should have a March or April Japanese release!

Another aespa comeback while I'm still listening to Supa > Armageddon > Whiplash on repeat. Ok, 2025, I can take the bird flu mutations now.

Okay it's getting weird. 3 vocalists from senior groups pulling out and/or putting the company on blast. That concert is going to be 100% lip synced or there's ai vocals on the album.
