  1. 1. Is Gaga’s power as a solo hit maker still there, before the decade ends?

I'm sorry you're having a hard time with this to the point you're lashing out, but the plain reality is your fave is about on the same level as Lady Gaga, whether you like it or not. Is she ahead of her?

Maybe in your dreams :rip:

Albums: Bey > Gaga

Singles: Bey > Gaga

Touring: Bey > Gaga

Awards: Bey > Gaga

Acclaim: Bey > Gaga

Longevity: Bey > Gaga

Impact/Legacy: Bey > Gaga

Net Worth: Bey > Gaga

Beyoncé has clearly a much bigger career than Gaga and everyone knows that.

She has more solo hits across her career than most of your faves will ever achieve past, present or future. So... what now?

BTW ARUTW is basically a solo song with 1B+ streams and is only 6 yrs later, Bradley's feature is basically a courtesy credit to him lol

ARUTW is totally solo, Bradley isn't credited on it at all, and it's an album track with 1.5B streams. OGH just like to act blind like that didn't happen, and the fact that she got a hit with Bloody Mary last year too.

Threads are these so stupid and makes no sense.

It just takes a silly trend on tiktok to make your song a big hit and anyone can achieve that with right song at a right time.

What do you have to do with Beyonce? :rip:  You stan early 2000s relic, who will always be below both Gaga and Bey, worry about that!

Honestly, anyone who isn't utterly hated by the public can absolutely land a hit with the right song at the right time. Just look at Miley with Flowers, a massive solo hit years after people thought her commercial peak was behind her. The idea that a fading star can't score hits anymore is such a tired narrative. A great song, a well-timed release, and some cultural momentum can change everything. Gaga has the talent, the fanbase, and the cultural presence to do it. She just needs the right track.

See?

It's the truth(.mp3), if they're gonna add C2C and ASIB, they also need to add L4S and Harlequin.

Nope

we've seen how her solo music performs with Disease, Stupid Love, 911... I could go on 😬

So then explain it's chart run. Why did it only hit #41 on the Hot 100?

What do you mean? Explain the chart run of a song that was never a single because you're mad it has 1.5B streams? Of course it's almost 2025 and you haven't realised that peaks can be utterly meaningless. (Billie's most streamed song peaking at #64 for example). Time to catch up sis it's not 1985 anymore

Because it's 2024 and songs go viral or grow in size later in their run, but we wouldn't expect someone born before Christ to understand.

Didn't Cowboy Carter last roughly the same as ARTPOP on the charts?

Why are you acting like it was this smash era just because it got a #1 hit song that is already more forgotten than most of Gaga's hit singles?

If Disease bombed into oblivion why is it on track to outstream EVERY track on Cowboy Carter (excluding THE) someday this week (including singles 16 Carriages and A-list collab with Miley Cyrus)? Was that an embarassing bomb too?

Don't even bother, that person is prolly not even a Bey stan, because the rhetoric he is using implying that Bey is as big as her last #1 is literally one that OBH would use the next time a single of hers underperforms. Bey is an untouchable legend and it has nothing to do with her getting a #1 "SOLO!111!!" hit :skull:  BMS is literally in the same bracket as Stupid Love.  Texas is def bigger, but point is, Bey being the biggest legend of the century has very little to do with her getting a solo hit in the year of 2024 :toofunny2:  Without it her career and status wouldn't flinch. Just like how it doesn't flinch even when she is below Katy Perry on global spotify with both her SOLO and Collabs together. By the same nasty logic they apply to GAGA, Bey would be considered over, but we all know and agree she is quite literally the biggest female legend of the century.

They play this stupid game with Gaga where they act like she is as big as her last single, but if u apply this to their favs they will cry. Bey's last single - a collab with Miley bombed. But somehow collab guarantees a smash for Gaga  It's never logic with OGH, it's just constant shifting of the goal post. Remember when they used to drag her for not collabing with other artists and for the fact that only gays liked her and blah blah, now it's the opposite :toofunny3:

And I've never seen a stanbase as stubborn in their self righteousness as the Hive. I'm sorry you're having a hard time with this to the point you're lashing out, but the plain reality is your fave is about on the same level as Lady Gaga, whether you like it or not. Is she ahead of her? In some ways, yes; in others, no. The fact that you think we are "delusional and unhinged" for even daring to compare them is embarrassing, especially when, again, they're not that far apart all things considered.

Does Beyoncé having "a #1 single and #1 album that debuted with over 400k" this year really put her that far ahead that even comparing them is "delusional" when that single lasted less weeks on the entire Hot 100 than Gaga's current Top 10 entry will last in the Top 10 alone and that album lasted less weeks on the Billboard 200 than Gaga's take on the genre that you all dragged to filth for how it charted in 2016? How is it that you feel you can drag Gaga in one breath for being frontloaded (you didn't here but I'm confident you have knowing your stance on Gaga), then in the next breath claim that Beyonce's arguably frontloaded units this year indicate she's lightyears bigger, and then in the next breath claim it is us who are "delusional and unhinged"?

:clap3:

The Hive has always been nasty and disrespectful to Gaga, pretending like she isn't worthy of sharing the same space Beyoncé occupies in music.

Even a colossal bomb like JFAD couldn't kill Gaga's career momentum as she now heads into the 18th year of her career possibly snatching the first #1 of the year, and trust that only a legend like Gaga could have navigated that.

OT: Even f*cking Katy Perry could get a solo hit again with the right material and right mix of riggery tbh

Maybe Disease flopping was for the best tbh. I want her to shine all by herself again so perhaps reworking the album to make more AC-leaning songs will do just that.
